"Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" takes off shortly after the first one ends. Powers is still in the 90s; however, Dr. Evil has returned to 1969, when Austin Powers is still frozen. He enlists the help of a huge Scottish man, named Fat Bastard, to steal Austin's "mojo", or his libido. When Austin realizes what has happened, he returns to 1969 and enlists the help of CIA agent Felicity Shagwell to re-capture Austin's mojo. Dr. Evil, in the meantime, has developed a tiny clone of himself, named "Mini-Me", and also plans to destroy Washingon DC with a huge laser he has placed on the moon.

Although the sequel to "Austin Powers" does re-hash several of the jokes from the first movie and has many similar plot elements, there is a good amount of new humor that comes from the new characters, Fat Bastard and Mini-Me. Also, Dr. Evil has a bigger part in this movie than in the last one, which was probably a good idea. After all, shagging jokes get old after awhile. If you liked the first movie, you will probably enjoy this one.
