Rated: PG-13

This movie contains language and adult content. I would not recommend it to small children. Damn, I'm sick of typing that last sentence over and over again for every movie review.

Type: Comedy

***1/2 (out of five stars)

In "The Wedding Singer", Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler) is a popular wedding and Bar Mitzvah singer who is left at the altar at his own wedding. He becomes extremely depressed, and the signs of his stress are obvious in his job performance. One day, Robbie meets a waitress, Julia (Drew Barrymore) at the place where he sings and they become attracted to each other. However, she is already engaged. Her fiancee, however, remains a womanizer despite his soon-to-be married status, and deep down, Julia really loves Robbie more. It's up to Hart to stop Julia's wedding and convince her that he is her true love.

I gave this movie four stars because its very funny and creative, although it takes awhile for the humor to really start. Its definitely Sandler's best movie so far (I know that's not saying much, but you have to trust me on this one).
