When Hanson's debut single 'MMMBop' was 
released last April , critics didn't believe  
that it was 12 , 14 and 16 year-olds 
making the music ."I thought it was some 
kind of joke ," recalls a radio dj ."We 
hasn't had musicians that young since 'the 
Jackson 5'!" Other djs had the same response . 
So when Aaron Carter's debut single 'Crush On 
You' hit #1 in Germany and across the world 
(above brother and fellow singer Backstreet 
Boy , Nick Carter ) no one seemed that 
shocked . Following his brother's foosteps , 
10 year-old Aaron Carter is a little boy 
with a big beat!

    The 4-foot-7 singing sensation has 
already taken his self-titled debut album to 
the top of international charts , and now 
the tiny tyke is ready to make his mark in 
the US with the Backstreet Boys on their 
40-city tour (which is almost over) . But it 
wont be the first time they've toured 
together ."I played with the Backstreet Boys 
last year-we did a concert ," Aaron says ,"It 
was really , really fun because it was my 
first tour and my first time performing in
front of hundreds and hundreds of fans!

   The youngster hasn't even hit fifth grade ,
 and he's already traveled and toured all over 
the world! But fans weren't always falling over 
to see the blonde-haired babe , Aaron 
explains . At first he was estatic to show his 
stuff to 200 people , but most of the time the 
crowd was cheep on cheers ."They were quiet ." 
Aaron says , who started singing when he was 6 
years-old , remembers . But he didin't let 
quiet crowds get him down , and his optimistic
outlook paid off ."Now big, big to me is 
100,000 ppeople ," he beams .

   The smart songster uses the same stress-
reducing technique to make sure he turns out a 
performance ."I just pretend like there's two
or three people out in the audience ," he
confesses ! Aaron is featured on BOP BOYS
along with other incredible world known boy
bands .

   Aaron Carter has gone on to release two
other singles including his latest 'Shake

   I'm sure I'm not the only person who
realizes that Hanson has started a trend ,
young people making chart-topping music!
Aaron Carter's not the only youngster to
TOP music charts this year (although he's
