Pikör is a dark bay, 16.1 hand German Trakehner/Rhinelander stallion born on December 26, 1974. He is a son of Donauwind, THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER SIRE OF THE 1980'S, and half-brother to Olympic and Pan Am Games gold medallist, Abdullah(1970). His granddam, Donaulied vom Schimmelhof, is one of the all time premier mares in the breed. Pikor is a Grand Prix dressage horse with scores in the high 60's and 70's. He has also been successfully shown in 3-day eventing. He is a proven producer of jumpers and has a great temperament.

Pikör is in the premier mare family No. 17 - Pelargonie which includes Peron TSF and TCN Partout of the Olympic team. Pikör's dam Peggi is the best of eight daughters by Pellerine. She is portrayed in the German book "Die beruhmtesten Trakehner Duetschlands", ("The most famous Trakehners of Germany"). Peggy gave birth to three approved sons and won top ribbons at the DLG exhibits. She was ridden and driven and gave birth to 16 foals. Many of these are/were good ridding horses. Her most famous daughter, also by Donauwind, was Pedola, a successful show horse and dam of the FEI horse and approved stallion:TCN Partout by Arogno. The list of who's who in the sport horse and Trakehner worlds goes on and on in this mare family. Pikör stood at stud at the Verband farms of Hunnesruck and Birkhausen before being imported to North America via Canada.

We are aware of two of his 7 Main Stud Book Mares and three Stud Book Mares,they are 2 German Approved Daughters - Annemarie and Heidebiene. In additon we know of two performing offspring Heideklang and Heidekönig both out of Heidekrug. We know of one more gelding, whom we assume is performing; that is Keewaydin out of Karolina owned by Kay and Bill Dennis.

In North America we know of 5 daughters: Romanze Rapsody out of Royal Romanze owned by Allan & Kim McMillan of Loon Creek Farms, The Dance out of Miss Leica owned by Marcia Gammon Port Carilng Ontario, and Allure out of Absage Owned by Marilyn White-Leverette of Harrowsmith Ontario. Hi Fidelity out of Helen's Image owned by Kay and Bill Dennis
and our filly - Alpintanz out of Aria's Attraktion by Inselkönig owned by Jessica Neilsen.
His offspring are eligible for the American Trakehner Dressage Futurity. His name roughly translates to Card Shark.

Pikör is also Canadian Trakehner Horse Society Approved. Pedigree
