EMF detector - This device is used to read Electro Magnetic Fields in low frequency. A reading between 2.0 and 8.0 is considered to be paranormal in nature. You must be cautious when using the device around electrical lines and other sources of man made power.

Compass -  This works in the same manner as the EMF detector. When a ghost is detected, the needle will spin due to the magnetic change.

35mm camera - Using a high speed film to capture anomalies on film is advised. 800-1000spd) We believe that, normally, ghosts move so quickly we cannot see them with the naked eye. A camera can “freeze time” in a way, due to the shutter opening and closing so quickly, enabling us to catch them on film.

Video camera - 8mm is recommended because many have night vision options or low lux. It is not understood yet why video cameras are able to catch anomalies on film because of the fact they show real time. In other words, why can we see them through a camera and not with our own eyes?

Tape recorder - (detachable mic) Use this to capture ghostly voices on audio. Use brand new high quality tapes, so not to mistake things previously recorded as the dead communicating! Be VERY careful not to record your own movements or voice!      EVP: Electronic Voice Phenomenon
 
 

     Also bring plenty of flashlights and batteries! A clip board can be very useful to record feelings, readings, and other information on an investigation. I would also strongly advise you bring an extra pair of hands, not only to carry all that equipment, but just as a precaution - you never know what could happen out there!
