Jeremiah 6:16, "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls."

Welcome to My Archives Page!

I hope you enjoy the newsletters that I have archived on this site. Because of the work I recently had done on my computer, I decided that in order to not lose any more of this information or links, that I would add some pages to my home page to contain it all.

I want to thank my "special friend" in Florida for emailing me so many of the old newsletters so that I could have them at my disposal, too. Without her help, and packrat-itis, I would not have many of these archives.

You may find that some sites in these newsletter are duplicated. For this I apologize, but rest assured that most of the sites and ratings will be new to me and I hope to you as well. As often as possible, I try to assess what grade levels the sites are for and what they contain that you can make use of.

I homeschool my own children practically free, and it is my hope that you can, too. By using the Internet, downloading free software, sending for free materials, and haunting yard sales and flea markets, we have homeschooled over the past two years at a minimal cost. I use my printer for lots of things, so our greatest expense seems to be paper and ink! To save on the cost of paper, we never throw out any paper that is suitable for printing - advertising in the mail, old printed items, etc. (Did you know that you can iron the folds out of used paper with your iron set on low?!) We find that printing on the back of used paper works out just fine for us. We also refill our ink cartridges ourselves and save tons of $$ doing that! I generally use black ink, which can be purchased locally at a very low price, saving colored ink for only those very special print jobs that just won't look appealing in black and white.

I will be adding some Bible study materials to this site, so be sure to check back for them. These are my own original works and are perfectly free for you to use. They are aimed at children from 1st to 12 grades. I don't have a lot of them yet, so be patient as I write them.

We are a Christian homeschool and as such, many of our links will be to Christian homeschool sites. Not all of them, however, so you will need to use your own judgement when viewing them. I will let you know if a site promotes something such as evolution so that you will not be taken by surprise. Many of these sites still contain valuable material that can be adjusted to suit your own personal convictions.

So, browse through the archives to your heart's content and, as always, Happy Homeschooling!

Ann
