Even though all you seem to
see on my site is Mick, there also happen to be other members of the band.
;-) In fact, the Stones have a large group of supporting musicians
to really pull off this great show!
Mick Jagger:
Leading man for the most part; also contributes some guitar on stage
Keith (Keef) Richards:
THE guitar man; also has a vocal segment
Charlie (Chah-ley) Watts:
THE drummer of the band, the century, the WORLD!
Ron (nie) Wood:
THE other guitarist; also does some solo projects-I think...
Darryl Jones:
THE new bassist since Bill Wyman ditched the Stones (pictured above w/Keith
and also w/Ronnie + Keith)
Bernard Fowler:
Back-up singer; been w/ the Stones for Steel Wheels, Voodoo Lounge and
now Bridges to Babylon
Lisa Fischer:
Back-up singer; been w/ the Stones for Voodoo Lounge and now Bridges to
Babylon; helps Mick out on "Gimme Shelter"--if you thought the original
singer on the album was good, you should hear this woman!
Blondie Chaplin:
Back-up singer; new for this tour, I believe
Chuck Leavell:
Keyboards; has been w/ the boys for quite a while!
Bobby Keys:
Saxophone; can this man play or WHAT??? (You're GREAT Bobby!) Has
been w/ the Stones for at least 20 yrs., as I have spotted his name on
cassette sleeves as far back as "Sticky Fingers"-1974
The New West Horns:
Their name pretty much says it all, don't you think? (The rest of the brass...)
