Touma was the second most powerful of the Secret Blade demons and received his orders not from Seraphim, but from Chihan, the most powerful. Touma was an old nemesis of Sentai's... they'd had a 'history' together and, never having liked each other much, now loathe each other. He'd been functioning under three peramiters in his role in the game:

1. Measure the PCs' power. He did this quite aptly when they managed to recover the seal.

2. Kill Sentai. He failed at this, but he DID take out the Sensei, which has been one of Secret Blade's goals as well.

3. Convert the most powerful demon in their realm to their side. This was, yes, Eurie. She might be a ditz, but she's a strong ditz. He had hoped to turn her obsession with Sentai into a hatred of him, but was killed before he had a chance to use his intellect to talk her around.

Although things might be a great deal more dangerous for the PC, Touma's ego was his weakness. He had not told anyone else where Sentai was so that he could have the honour of killing him despite his physical weakness, instead of having Chihan sent to take care of him. Because of this, Touma's head's on a wall. Third has met Touma, and if the party figures this out, can answer some questions about him.
