The Red Dwarf Extravaganza!!

Welcome, welcome to my humble abode...
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
G'day mate, here sit down and I'll tell you a story...

...Or maybe not.

This is my web page solely devoted to the British sitcom Red Dwarf. This series was piloted in the 1980's and now is into it's seventh series.
The credits start with the following spouted irreverently by Holly, the Red Dwarf's on-board computer:

HOLLY: (In space) This is an SOS distress call from the mining ship Red Dwarf.  The crew are dead, killed by a radiation leak.  The only survivors were Dave Lister, who was in suspended animation during the disaster, and his pregnant cat, who was safely sealed in the hold.
Revived three million years later, Lister's only companions are a life form who evolved from his cat, and Arnold Rimmer, a hologram simulation of one of the dead crew.
(Returning) In the 3 million years we've been away, it is my fond hope that mankind has abolished war, cured all disease, and gotten rid of those little western saloon doors you get in trendy clothes shops.

Who? What? Where?

I can gather that if you haven't seen this show what I just spouted previously would mean absolutely nothing to you. So here is a very rough guide to the show.
There are five main characters in the show:
Rimmer- the bigoted, stuck up, smeghead with an attitude who bears the brunt of a fair portion of the gags during to course of any one episode. He is dead and brought 'back to life' as a hologram and he complains about it incessantly during the first 2 series'. He is played by Chris Barry.
Lister- the last human alive by chance coupled with stupidity. A slob with a curry fetish and bad personal hygiene. This character is played by Craig Charles.
Cat- of the race Felis Sapiens the descendants of Frankenstein, Lister's pet cat. He is the ultimate symbol of cool; also known for his gullibility and stupidity. Cat is played by Danny John-Jules.
Kryten- the android with a head shaped like a novelty condom. He is the supposed brain in the group although he does get his own share of the trouble. Kryten is a late arrival as he only comes into the show at the beginning of series III. Kryten is played by Robert Llewen.
Holly- the ship's onboard computer with a supposed IQ of 6000. Unfortunately Holly is suffering from computer senility so he/she is sometimes a bit ...er... strange. Series III of the Red Dwarf featured a head sex change of the computer and so changed actors. Holly was played by Norman Lovett during series I - II and Hattie Hayridge from III to VI.

The Red Dwarf is a mining ship that was on its usual rounds when Lister got busted for having an unquarantined cat and had to go into stasis for the rest of the ship's tour. Three weeks later Rimmer bungled the maintenance of the ship's drive plate and thus caused a radiation leak within the ship, killing the entire crew. Rimmer was Holly's choice to bring back as a hologram to keep Lister sane as he woke up to find himself to have been in stasis for three million years.

Now that you're introduced here's a few links and files to do with the small rouge one.

The TV series is immensely popular throught the world and presently enjoys the status of the most highly budgeted show on BBC in the UK where it is made.

Well, that's about it, below I have listed sime Reddwarf related materiel as well as the infamous theme tune...

And of course, for the dedicated Smeghead we have every single script in zip format. It's 450k and features all the episodes up to the end of series VI.
