Roly Smithers!!!!
Roly is from Co. Kildare, and is 19. He was picked after a number of
auditions, and completes the winning formula that is Area 4. He
plays the guitar, and Area 4 is the first band that he has been a part
of!!!
Roly is a lovely guy, with (as John says) MAD hair!!! (It is currently
red and spikey!!) He is also MAD inthe head!!!!! He is a brilliant
performer, and really friendly (as are all the guys).
Roly loves to lie in bed and not answer the phone, which is
probably why he lists his dislikes as "early mornings and mobile
phones".
His favourite film of all time is "Scream" which has contributed to
the stage show put together by the band for their debut single, also
entitled "Scream". With musical influences like the Stereophonics
and Radiohead, Roly is the deep thinker of the band and can always be
heard strumming away on his guitar before a show. Roly's highest ambition is to get out of bed before 12 noon, just once in his life.
