So who ARE Area 4 anywayz??? Area 4 are John Collins, (19) Ian Colgan, (21) Roly Smithers, (20) and Mark Cleary, the baby at age 17 :) With the exception of Roly who is from Kildare, they all hail from Dublin's fair city!!

Area 4 were formed in the early part of 1999 when their common interests along with a series of auditions brought them together.

Do you recognise them?? Area 4 spent all over Christmas in Pantomine with Dustin and Twink and they were brilliant!! Someday when I get my life to calm down, I'll write a review of that pantomime... but besides that -

Area 4 have a long list of gigs to their name..... they've played in a list of top Dublin and Belfast nightclubs, (such as the Red Box, Tivoli and the Olympia) and have just completed the 2fm Kit Kat Beat On The Street, the creme de la creme of Irish Roadshows !! They have recently just performed in a show in aid of a very worthy cause, the Turkish Earthquake fund, in which they shared the stage with a host of Ireland's up and coming stars, as well as Dustin the Turkey, and Westlife. They have been on Den tv, Open House, F.I.S.H., Hiúdaí (Ian and Roly got gunged) 2phat... and the list goes on!! Each time their performance has stunned on lookers, and they have stirred many interests and turned many heads since these appearances.

Area 4 played a storm in the Olympia Theatre on Novemeber 10th. Other acts on stage included Westlife and Linda Martin...
