MAY 14th-- Arista records in The USA have snapped up  Westlife!! Hot on the heels of their major success with " Swear It Again", and their forth coming release " Let you go " , Due for release in August, Westlife are being prepared for their relase on the American Market, before the end of this year.
Swear it again sat at the top of the Irish Charts for 5 weeks, and theUK charts for two! May I take this opportunity to congratulate the guys!!!!


may '99 --Ronans " No girls" ban seems to be failing!!!!!
A kiss 'n' tell story recently emerged about Kian and a bar maid called Emma, in England. (it was from ages ago, and I don't know why the girl bothered to tell her story--it put herself in a bad light--not Kian!)
And Kian isn't the only one finding romance for himself!! Bryan has admitted to having "snogged" (or "shifted" as we say here in the West)
Angela Griffin-- the one who used to be on Coronation Street!!! (All I know is that she was a hair dresser in it)


April 25th--Westlife are NUMBER ONE in the UK!!! Swear it again straight to the top again!!

April 3rd--Westlife are at NUMBER ONE--In the frst week!!! Westlife have toured around Ireland, on a major Radio, tv, and PA tour, and this has mean their debut single is the fastest selling Debut single ever  in 
Ireland!!!

Westside supported Boyzone during their 2 concerts  in Omagh, for the 
victims of the Omagh Massacre.  Nicky spoke on Donegal radio, Highland
 Radio, about the events in the world of Westside, their accociation 
with Boyzone, his accociation with Georgia Ahern, (Bertie's Daughter),
 and the massive welcome they got from the fans in Omagh.





Westside are in the February issue of  BLISS magazine. There is an a4
 size poster ( their first in a British magazine), and also  a  feature
 comparing them to Boyzone. According to Bliss..........
 
Kian is "The CUTE one",(Stephen Gately) ( I see no similarites, except 
height maybe?) 
 
Shane is "The TOUGH looking one". (Shane Lynch) (No way. Shane is a dote.
 Tough looking? Yes, I'm sure he's have no hassle in a fight but there
 is NOTHING in common with him and Mr. Lynch. except first names maybe.)
 
 Bryan is " The DODGY looking one", (Mikey Graham) (Bryan? Dodgy? 
Hell-o???? Bryan is a babe, and many people will back me up on that.
 He's so sound... where the hell are these  Bliss verdicts coming from?)

 Nicky is "The WELL LOVED UP one" (Ronan Keating) ( I can't argue there.
 Even before I met Nicky, I was convinced he was Ronans long lost 
brother. And WOW, can he do a good impersonation, or what????) 

and finally, 
Mark is called " The OTHER one" (excuse me??????? The OTHER one? What
 kind of credit is Mark getting for his wonderful voice??? That is
 such a snide comment, that I couldn't be bothered fighting back any
 more, everyone knows its not true!!  (OH, and he's spposed to be the 
next Keith Duffy). (Does that make Keith " The OTHER one in Boyzone?)


I TOTALLY disagree with any of these BLiss statements!!!!! They are so
 mean, and Horrible!! And how can Mark be just  "The other one"?????  
And Bryan " The Dodgy one"??? Watch out for a complaint in the next 
issue of Bliss!!!!!






On  Tuesday December 29th, Westside appeared on the Irish National 
Entertainment awards, and did a great performance of " Flying Without 
Wings".





Westside Supported Boyzone on their 4 Irish dates in Belfast and Dublin
 between the 27th and 30th of December.





On  Sunday December 13th, Westside won " Best new Tour act" on the 
Smash Hits Awards. Congratulations guys!!!! And, to present it to them 
was their very own manager, Ronan Keating!
