"Oh no, not ANOTHER Irish boy band" I hear you all scream in agony. 

Well, be not hasty in your remarks. Mytown are not your usual boyband.
They not have fantastic voices,  cheoreograph all of their own  dances, 
but they also play their own instruments, write  and produce their own 
songs, which ensures that they are 100% Mytown, not just another pretty
face for the record company!!!!


It is the combination of these talents that has led them to be offered
 the BIGGEST ever record deal to an unknown band!!! This was from
  Universal records, one of the  worlds biggest record companies, who
        have  signed MYTOWN up to a $15 Million deal!!!!



So talented are these guys that their name is flying around
the American Music industry, and EVERYONE wants to work with them. 
They have worked with all the top producers, who have worked with 
TLC, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilira and more. They have written
 songs with the legends of soul, BOYS II MEN , and have created 
an amazing 
 album.




This is their Current single "Bodybumpin" which is taken from their
forthcoming album.

Mytown have appeared on the cream of American Television. One such
programme was the "Donny And Marie Osmond show", one of America's 
biggest chat shows. (The equivalent of The Irish 'Late Late Show'
i.e.- a program  everybody watches. ) They performed their song 
"Bodybumpin"  with completely live vocals, while dancing an energetic 
dance routine simultaneously.   Singing while dancing is very rarely
seen in  most bands, but it is something Mytown pride themselves on.
They were the first unknown band ever to have 
appeared on this show--and certainly made an impression on the American
market!!!

Releases from Mytown include "Party All Night" their debut single which 
was released in Ireland and the U.K. in Feb. 1999. , and "Bodybumpin" 
which is now on release in the U.S. 

LAST FRIDAY I WAS VERY PRIVELIGED TO BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO LISTEN
TO MYTOWNS SELF ENTITLED ALBUM, DUE OUT IN THE U.S.A. in MARCH, BUT 
HERE IN IRELAND WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL APRIL. BUT LET ME ASSURE YOU--
IT WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT!!

 I also was invited along to watch the last  Mytown rehearsal before 
they jetted off to the States, and I am still  amazed  at the talent
 they are oozing. I saw them perform and dance to  uptempo songs, 
play guitar to the slower more soulful songs, and I am still in awe
 at their talent.
