Had some free time to do these...

©Boot Director v3.1

Yes, another boot utility. But wait! This is no ordinary boot utility.
The entire project was borne out of frustration with other boot programs (OS/2 Boot Manager, BootLoader, SyMon, XOSL, System Commander, etc.) not doing what I would have wanted them to do. They seem to have focused on appearance first and foremost! There are at least a few features unique to Boot Director: extremely compact (written in pure assembler), maximum compatibility (with OSes conforming to the MBR-Partition-Table standard; completely relies on boot-chaining technique), unobtrusive/inconspicuous (does not interfere with others' use of the same computer; triggered only by a key sequence during boot-up; you pick the default OS), freeware and open source (GPL)!

Some other features:
total customizability since it's open-source, can accommodate more than 50 OSes, does not require its own dedicated partition, compatible with modern large drives, allows all partitions to be of type primary, entire setup easily backed-up to other media (single location), etc.

Weaknesses (currently):
no GUI, made for advanced users only (do you know what a sector editor is?), needs (re)work on important parts (mind you, i'm presently using it and it's completely safe and functional; maybe YOU can HELP develop it!)
