Chapter 55
As he soundly slept Gia lay nestled close to Nikolas a soft smile crossing her face. Her breathing in tune with his, their hearts beating as one Gia tenderly looked up at Nikolas shocked, amazed, and moved by all of Nikolas’ actions the past few days. Wanting nothing more than to curl up in a small ball to cry and sink in to her pain Nikolas was there to pull her through. And as he tenderly loved her holding her gently and tightly in his arms all thoughts but him disappeared and Gia knew she would never again be the same. Her constant need to touch and feel him Gia slowly and gently reached out smoothing her hand along his cheek. And as her fingers slowly traveled across his mouth Nikolas suddenly moved capturing her hand within his. Slowly bringing her hand to his mouth Nikolas gently kissed each finger before placing her hand over his heart. With eyes still closed, a slow smile moving across his face, Nikolas softly spoke to Gia.
Nikolas- [softly] What are you doing?
Gia- [softly] Watching you sleep…
Nikolas- That must have been rather boring…
Gia- [softly] It wasn’t…
Opening his eyes Nikolas tenderly smiled down at Gia now his turn to touch and caress her tender skin. And as his hand lovingly caressed her cheek Gia softly whispered to him.
Gia- [whispering] I don’t want to leave…
Nikolas- [slowly shaking his head] Then don’t…
Gia- I can’t stay here forever…
Nikolas- Why not?
Gia- I have to face him…
Nikolas- [whispering] Gia…
Gia- [resting her head again on his chest] I have to face the world eventually…
Nikolas- I won’t ever allow him or anyone else to hurt you…
Gia- [slowly shaking her head] You can’t promise that…
Nikolas- I can and I am…
Gia- [softly] Thank you…
Nikolas- [smiling as he tightened his hold of her hand] Do you really want to leave this…
Gia- [softly as she looked up at him] Nikolas…
Nikolas- You and I… in bed… no cares… no worries…
Gia- We’ve done that for the past two days…
Nikolas- [softly] You didn’t like it?
Gia- I…
Nikolas- [lightly kissing her forehead] Maybe I can do something to change you mind…
Gia- [smiling as he moved over her] Maybe…
Looking down on her Nikolas softly smiled at Gia losing himself again in the darkness of her eyes. Lowering his mouth to her Nikolas slowly and tenderly nibbled at her mouth running his tongue slowly over her lips before slipping his tongue inside. Their tongues engaged in a slow dance Gia wrapped her arms around his neck locking his mouth to hers. Their mouths and tongues joined as one Gia released her hold on his neck as she slowly moved her hands down his body caressing and massaging the muscles of his back. Her hands resting lightly on his waist Gia opened her legs to Nikolas welcoming him into her once again. Pulling away from their kiss Nikolas stared down at Gia watching and loving her as he slowly entered her. The feel of him lodged deep within her Gia instinctively arched her back closing her eyes in ecstasy drawing him deeper still into her. The soft whisper of her name Gia again locked eyes with Nikolas as he slowly began to move in and out of her. Her hands moving to gently caress his face Gia pulled his mouth back to hers as she rocked slowly against him. Beginning his descent down her neck Nikolas slowly and lightly licked all of her stopping only when he held a rigid nipple between his teeth. Seducing each nipple with his thumb, teeth, and tongue Nikolas soon had Gia calling out to him begging and pleading for more. Her hands moving lower Gia tightly held his ass within her hands pulling and pushing him further still into her. His hands now on her hips as well Nikolas rammed into Gia over and over until his seed spilled deep within her. Wrapping her legs around his waist as her release too joined his Gia arched her back and called out his name over and over as sensations ripped through her. Attempting to move Nikolas was stilled as Gia tightened her legs around his waist and slowly shook her head as she whispered to him.
Gia- [whispering] You feel so good…
Nikolas- [softly as he bent to kiss her again] So do you…
Her lips joining his in a tender kiss they wrapped their arms around the other momentarily forgetting the world around them. Their kiss deepening they were broken apart by heavy pounding on the penthouse door.
Gia- [softly] Nikolas…
Nikolas- What in the hell is that?
Gia- Maybe you should go and check…
Nikolas- [slowly nodding] Yeah… [quickly bending to kiss her] I’ll be right back…
Quickly slipping on his pajama bottoms Nikolas grabbed his robe slowly making his way toward his door wondering who, what, and why someone was pounding on his door as such. With his robe still open Nikolas swung open the door staring into four sets of angry eyes.
Lucky- What in the hell took you so long?
Nikolas- [calmly] What do you want?
Sonny- Is she here?
Nikolas- Excuse me?
Sonny- [hands on his hips] I said is she here?
Nikolas- What is this about?
Jason- Just answer the question…
Nikolas- If and when a question is presented to me I will gladly answer all…
Jason- He’s wasting our time…
Lucky- [turning to leave] I told you Gia wouldn’t come here…
Taggert- Wait a minute… have you seen Gia?
Nikolas- Yes…
Taggert- [moving up to stand beside Sonny] How is she? Is she ok or…
Nikolas- I understand you are concerned however…
Before Nikolas could continue sonny quickly grabbed him by his robe roughly pulling Nikolas towards him.
Sonny- [yelling] Where in the hell is she?
Nikolas- [calmly as possible] Take your hands off of me…
Sonny- [yelling] Answer the damn question!
Nikolas- [knocking his hands away] If you don’t remove your hands…
Jason- [grabbing at Nikolas as he yelled] Answer his question!
Lucky- [yelling as he moved towards Nikolas] Nikolas if you know anything…
Taggert- Calm down… if he knows anything he’ll tell us…
Sonny- [yelling still] Where is she?
Hearing the commotion in the other room not knowing exactly what was going on Gia quickly slipped out of the bed retrieving Nikolas’ pajama top and her underwear before venturing out of the room. Nearing the yelling barely making out the voices Gia turned the corner to the sight of Sonny, Jason, and Lucky grabbing at Nikolas as he angrily knocked their hands away. Seeing Taggert standing to the side slowly shaking his head Gia continued towards the scene softly calling his name knowing finally he had come for her.
Gia- [softly] Marcus…
At the sound of her voice the scene suddenly stopped and all turned towards her. Shock and confusion crossing Lucky and Jason’s face they released Nikolas wondering how and why Gia was here with him. Relief crossing both Sonny and Taggert’s face they turned to her ready to question and help her in any and all ways.
Taggert- [softly] Lil Bit…
As feeling and emotions from the last few days came back to her Gia rushed to Taggert flinging her arms tightly around him.
Gia- [softly as tears flowed] Marcus…
Taggert- [wrapping her tightly in his arms] Lil Bit what is it?
Gia- I was so scared and I tried to cal you but…
Taggert- [softly] I’m here now…
Gia- I didn’t want… I didn’t… [quickly shaking her head] Nikolas saved me and…
Sonny- [softly] Saved you from what?
Gia- [burying deeper into Taggert’s embrace] Sonny I didn’t… I didn’t know where to call you or Jason and Lucky I tried but…
Lucky- Gia… [softly] what happened?
Nikolas- [closing the door] If you all will excuse me…
Gia- [softly] Nikolas…
Nikolas- [looking at Gia] I’m just going to give you all some time…
Gia- [softly as she looked intently at Nikolas] But you promised…
Nikolas- [softly as he slowly shook his head] I’m not going anywhere…
Gia- Nikolas stay…
Nikolas- [softly] Gia…
Jason- What is this?
Gia- Please… [at his nod] thank you…
Lucky- Gia what’s going on here?
Jason- What do you think?
Sonny- Jason…
Jason- [shaking his head] She had us searching all of Port Charles for her and she’s been here with him the entire time…
Nikolas- You should listen before…
Jason- [angrily] Don’t tell me what I should do…
Lucky- [softly] Gia why are you here?
As thoughts again came to her she withdrew further into Taggert’s embrace trying best to block the hurt. Holding her tightly to him Taggert slowly rocked trying his best to calm and soothe whatever pain she was going through. Leading her slowly to the couch Taggert sat down with Gia still in his arms whispering softly to her reminding her of promises made long ago.
Taggert- [softly] Do you remember what I told you?
Gia- [slowly shaking her head] No…
Taggert- That no matter where you go or no matter where you are I will always be there to protect you.
Gia- [softly] Not this time…
Taggert- [whispering] Always…
Gia- [softly] I couldn’t make him stop… I begged and begged him but he wouldn’t stop…
Taggert- [softly stroking her back] Shh…
Gia- He was supposed to be my friend…
Sonny- [coming to kneel in front of her] What are you talking about Gia…
Gia- [softly] I would have called you but…
Sonny- [softly] I know…
Taggert- Baby…
Gia- [softly] Marcus what am I going to do?
Taggert- Nothing… I’m here now…
Gia- [softly as she lowered her head] But he shouldn’t have done that…
Sonny- Gia who is he?
Gia- [softly as a single tear rolled down her cheek] Kamar…
Taggert- [softly] What did he do?
With her head lowered Gia slowly and softly spoke of her ordeal with Kamar. And as all stood and sat in shocked silence Nikolas’ eyes never left Gia forever ready to go to her if at all she needed him. Shock turning to anger Sonny stood slowly pacing the room ready to order Kamar’s demise. And as Taggert remained beside Gia continuing to tightly holding her a slow calm came over him as he knew in an instant all that mattered to him lay in his arms. Never seeing his sister in such a state Taggert held Gia closer to him silently giving his strength to her. Slowing raising her head Gia locked eyes with Nikolas again moved by the emotions easily read in their depths. At a slow nod from him Gia again softly spoke to her brothers knowing what she was about to ask them would be next to impossible.
Gia- [softly] Marcus I don’t want you to tell mom…
Taggert- [softly] Gia…
Gia- [slowly shaking her head] I don’t want her to know about this… [looking at Sonny and back to Marcus again] don’t tell Mike or Gerald either…
Sonny- Gia…
Gia- I don’t want anyone else to know about this…
Jason- But…
Gia- If I could take it all away I would but can’t and I have to live and deal with everything that’s happened. And I don’t think I can do that if my mom and everyone else knew what I went through.
Sonny- [softly] You don’t have to worry about Kamar ever again…
Gia- [softly] I don’t want you to do anything to him…
Sonny- Gia…
Gia- You have to promise me… [quickly looking from Sonny to Marcus] the both of you… [turning her gaze to Jason and Lucky next] all of you that nothing happens to Kamar…
Taggert- [softly] He doesn’t deserve your concern…
Gia- [shaking her head] I don’t care about Kamar… I care about you.
Lucky- Gia…
Gia- The thought of any of you throwing away what you have over someone like him… [softly] I wouldn’t be able to face myself knowing you wasted it all for me…
Taggert- It wouldn’t be a waste…
Gia- [gently taking his hand] Marcus you are my big brother and I love you with all of my heart…
Taggert- [softly] But I wasn’t there when you needed me…
Gia- But you’re here now…
Taggert- Gia…
Gia- Marcus I love you and I know that you love me… promise me you won’t do anything…
Taggert- [softly] Gia…
Gia- [softly] I did remember your promise and I knew that when the time was right you would come to me and you did…
Taggert- But…
Gia- [softly] You’re here now… [at his slow nod Gia turned to Sonny] don’t do anything to him…
Sonny- [softly] He deserves to die… he put his hands on you and…
Gia- But I’m ok now… Nikolas took care of me and…
Lucky- [softly] Gia why did you come here?
Gia- [looking intently at Nikolas] Because I knew Nikolas would take care of me and he did…
Lucky- [softly] But…
Gia- [softly] He took care of me and made the hurt go away…
Sonny- I’m here now and I want you to come with me and I promise you that Kamar will never hurt or come near you again.
Gia- [softly] I know he won’t…
Sonny- Get your things and…
Gia- [shaking her head] I’m not coming with you Sonny…
Sonny- You aren’t going back to cottage or the hospital… Kamar has too much access to you and…
Gia- I want to stay… I’m going to stay with Nikolas…
Sonny- [shaking his head] You can’t stay here…
Nikolas- If Gia wants to stay here…
Jason- Stay out of this… [angrily] this is not your concern…
Nikolas- Whatever involves Gia is my concern… and if she wants to stay here I will not turn her away.
Lucky- It would be safer at Sonny’s penthouse…
Gia- [slowly shaking her head] I’m staying with Nikolas…
Lucky- [softly] But Gia you don’t know him… you don’t know…
Gia- [slowly shaking her head] I’m not asking any of you to accept and approve of this. When I needed someone the most Nikolas was there and he kept me safe… I don’t want to leave that or him…
Sonny- What about the cottage and Gerald?
Gia- He doesn’t need me…
Lucky- Neither does Nikolas…
Gia- [softly] But I need him…
Realization crossing his face Lucky moved towards Gia gently taking her hand in his as he whispered softly to her.
Lucky- [whispering] If you ever need me…
Gia- [slowly nodding] I know where to find you…
Lucky- [softly] Call me sometime… I miss hearing your voice…
As Gia slowly nodded Lucky leaned in gently kissing Gia on her cheek before turning and leaving the penthouse without another word. Jason silently watching the scene he looked intently at Gia speaking softly to her before he too turned to leave.
Jason- [softly] Be careful…
Gia- [slowly nodding] I will…
Jason- I haven’t forgotten…
Gia- [softly] I know…
Nodding quickly in her direction Jason turned his gaze to Nikolas looking at him hard before turning and leaving his penthouse as well. Knowing his protests where useless Sonny came over to Gia wrapping her tightly in his arms loving her with his tight embrace. Whispering vows to protect her always Sonny smiled down on Gia before slowly exiting Nikolas’ penthouse going quickly to his needing the time and space to decipher all that Gia told to them. Now Marcus’ turn to go to Gia he held her at arms length loving staring down at her before pulling her tightly up against him.
Taggert- [whispering] I love you Gia…
Gia- [whispering] I love you too Marcus…
Taggert- I’ll never again let anything happen to you…
Gia- I know…
Taggert- You’re all that matters to me…
Gia- [slowly nodding her head] Me too…
Taggert- If I had known…
Gia- [tightening her hold on him] You’re here now…
Pulling away from her Marcus stared down into his sister’s face knowing that she had been forever changed by what Kamar had done to her. Tears glistening in his eyes Marcus continued to stare at Gia. Reaching out slowly Gia tenderly wiped his tears away softly whispering to him.
Gia- [softly] I’m ok Marcus…
Taggert- [as a single tear slowly trickled down his handsome face] I don’t want anything to happen to you…
Gia- Nothing will with you as my brother…
Taggert- [softly] Always remember that…
As Gia slowly nodded Taggert pulled her to him again for a tender hug. Finally breaking away from her Taggert turned his attention to Nikolas softly talking to him.
Taggert- [softly] Take care of my sister…
Nikolas- [softly] With my life…
Taggert- Don’t let anything happen to her…
Nikolas- I won’t…
With a gentle nod Taggert looked again at Gia softly smiling as he whispered to her before he left.
Taggert- [softly smiling] I’ll see you soon Lil Bit…
Gia- [softly] Ok…
Smiling at her one last time Taggert left leaving Gia alone in the middle of the room. And as a single tear slowly made it’s way down her cheek Nikolas came over to Gia wrapping her in his arms whispering softly to her.
Nikolas- [whispering] I need you too…
Her arms enclosing him in an embrace they stood locked together all things and thoughts slowly disappearing around them.
Chapter 56
Continuing to angrily slam his things into a nearby box Kyan did not stop as she heard light knocking on her front door. Knowing it was him Kyan moved to her closet quickly snatching his clothes for their hangers. Making his way into her room Kamar stared at Kyan slightly amused by her irritation.
Kamar- Didn’t you hear me?
Kyan- [flatly] Yes…
Kamar- Then why didn’t you come and answer the door?
Kyan- You had a key…
Kamar- [leaning against the door] What are you doing?
Kyan- What does it look like?
Kamar- [trying best not to smile] Are you moving?
Kyan- No… [shaking her head] but you are…
Kamar- You have to understand…
Kyan- [turning towards him] No you have to understand… nothing you say will work. I could care less about your explanation.
Kamar- Kyan listen to me…
Kyan- [shaking her head as she again threw his things into a box] I don’t think so…
Kamar- What I said…
Kyan- Let me see… if I remember correctly you called me a jealous bitch that’s scared her spotlight is dimming because someone better than her is here now…
Kamar- [softly] I’m sorry…
Kyan- [flatly as she folded her arms across her chest] Yes you are…
Kamar- Kyan I don’t have time for this… if you…
Kyan- And neither do I…
Kamar- Kyan…
Kyan- Just get your shit and get the hell out…
Kamar- [shaking his head] I don’t think so…
Kyan- [again slamming his things into the box] You don’t have a choice…
As she attempted to head towards her dresser to retrieve more of his things Kamar rushed to her roughly grabbing her by the arm forcing her to turn to him.
Kamar- You’re going to listen to what I have to say…
Kyan- [snatching her arm away] I don’t think so…
Kamar- [grabbing her again] Listen to me damn it!
Kyan- Kamar I don’t care what you have to say. Find someone else to help you get Corinthos… I’m done…
Kamar- [softly] But I need you…
Kyan- [pulling away from him] Oh well…
Kamar- Kyan…
Kyan- [moving across the room] Kamar I want you to get your things and leave…
Kamar- Kyan I can’t do this without you…
Kyan- [shrugging] I don’t know what to tell you…
Kamar- I understand you being upset but you have to know that I meant nothing I said…
Kyan- [flatly] Good for you…
Kamar- I got so much pressure coming at me from all directions and…
Kyan- That sounds like a personal problem to me…
Kamar- [forcing tears] And I’m trying to do all that I can for us...
Kyan- Us… [shaking her head] there is no us…
Kamar- Kyan please… I’m trying to do right by you. You have to stand beside me and…
Kyan- [softly] Kamar…
Kamar- Kyan please… [as a single tear fell down his face] everything I’m doing is for us. Nothing I do will mean anything if you’re not there with me in the end…
Kyan- [flatly] Kamar save your fake tears for someone who might fall for them.
Anger suddenly flashing across his face Kamar straightened looking intently at Kyan.
Kamar- I know you are pissed but…
Kyan- [shaking her head] There are no buts…
Kamar- [yelling] Damn it Kyan… I don’t have time to explain any and everything to you!
Kyan- I’m not asking you to explain a damn thing… all I want is for you to get your crap and get out of my house.
Kamar- No you have to listen…
Kyan- [angrily] No you listen… I’ve played second to her my entire life and I’ll be damned if I do it now because you’re trying to play some game that you hope will bring down her brother.
Kamar- Ky…
Kyan- [shaking her head] No Kamar… I want you to leave.
Kamar- If you listen to what I have to say…
Kyan- Don’t waste your or my time… just leave…
Kamar- This is not up for debate…
Kyan- And neither is this… [turning her back on him to leave the room] take you things and…
Before she could finish her statement Kamar rushed her from behind roughly twisting her arm behind her back. As she pleaded with him to stop Kamar forcibly pushed her face first against the wall as he threateningly whispered in her ear.
Kamar- [whispering] If I were you I would think twice about trying to throw me out of here.
Kyan- [softly] Kamar please…
Kamar- All of you are just alike…
Kyan- [softly as she slowly shook her head] I…
Kamar- [tightening his hold on her arm] I give and I give trying to help you and you just spit it back in my face like I don’t matter.
Kyan- Please…
Kamar- Well you’re not walking away from me this time… [jerking her arm roughly] not this time…
Kyan- [shaking her head] I’m… I’m not going anywhere…
Quickly turning her towards him Kamar kept Kyan pressed up against the wall this time however resting his forearm against her throat. Seeing the fear etched across her face Kamar sadistically smiled before he again began to whisper to her.
Kamar- [whispering] I own you… [at her nod] everything you have and hold dear I can take away from you with a snap of my fingers…
Kyan- [softly] I…
Kamar- I don’t give a damn if you’re sick of this or not. This isn’t over until I say so… do you understand me?
Kyan- [quickly nodding] Yes…
Kamar- You aren’t the first nor the last who tried to walk away from me and just like the rest you will fall in line and do as I say.
Kyan- [as a lonely tear slowly ran down her face] I’m sorry Kamar…
Kamar- [gently stroking her cheek] You better be…
As she attempted to nod Kyan was caught off guard as Kamar placed a bruising kiss on her mouth. Pushing against his chest Kyan softly cried out as she felt him bite down on her bottom lip breaking the skin and drawing a thin trickle of blood. Finished with his kiss Kamar pulled Kyan from the wall pushing her across the room towards the box on the bed.
Kamar- [angrily] Now put my clothes back where they belong.
Kyan- [softly crying] Ok…
Slowly walking towards her Kamar gently caressed her back and shoulders softly speaking to her as she unloaded the box.
Kamar- [softly] Aww baby don’t cry…
Kyan- [softly as she shook her head] I’m not crying…
Kamar- [increasing pressure on her back and shoulders] Do this my way and we’ll both get what we want…
At her nod Kamar turned going back towards the door. As he was leaving he again turned to her giving her his instructions for what he wanted.
Kamar- Things aren’t going as planned…
Kyan- [softly as she nodded] I know…
Kamar- If you don’t get me something on Corinthos all of this will blow up in both of our faces.
Kyan- [nodding] I understand…
Kamar- [leaning against the door] Do something that will get him to trust you.
Kyan- I’ve tried and…
Kamar- Get him in bed… that always works…
Kyan- [softly] Kamar…
Kamar- Get him to sleep with you and maybe he’ll tell you everything we need to know.
Kyan- I can’t sleep with him…
Kamar- [smirking] Sleeping is the last thing I want you to do…
Kyan- [shaking her head] But I…
Kamar- [as he turned and left the room] Do it Kyan or else…
As he finally exited her apartment Kyan collapsed on the bed burying her head in her hands. Crying softly Kyan silently wondered what exactly she had gotten herself into. Remembering their meeting… the sweet talk and come ons Kyan shook her head realizing it was a set up from the start. Having learned she was related to Gia in some small way she fell head first for the lies Kamar laid upon her promising to give her all things she thought she lacked. But now to know it meant nothing… shaking her head Kyan stood wiping her tears as she slowly returned Kamar’s things to their location.
