About Keith See

Keith See started training in Kenpo in 1956 while living in Hawaii. Although he has studied many other arts and holds black belt ranking in Okinawan Karate (2nd Dan), Kajukembo Kenpo (6th Dan), Aikijutsu (assistant teacher), and Japanese Sword (assistant teacher), his first love has always been Kenpo.

He started training with Ed Parker in 1964, the same year he won the U. S. Karate Championship, and what he learned his first year with Mr. Parker helped him win the All-American Chamionship in 1965. After retiring from competition the following year, Keith See devoted himself to perfecting his understanding of Kenpo. He continued that training with Ed Parker for 28 years, and as of this date, holds a 7th Dan ranking in the Parker System.

Keith See continues to improve his understanding of his art to this day. By constantly improving and refining the Kenpo moves that work in a realistic situation, he has actually returned to his roots. Growing up in Hawaii, he was taught Kenpo in a full-contact, only-use-what-works style that he still enjoys today. In his classes he pays homage to all his teachers, but especially the ones from Hawaii that got him started on his journey. If you study with Keith See, be prepared to learn, and learn the old way...
