Hawaiian Kenpo

Hawaiian Kenpo is Keith See's synthesis of his four decades in the martial arts, and a tribute to his early training days in Hawaii.

A blend of K. S. Chow's Kenpo, Emperado's Kajukembo, and Ed Parker's American Kenpo, Hawaiian Kenpo is designed to be used, if necessary, and focuses on techniques that work on the street (instead of techniques that look good in a competition).

Although practice forms have their place in the training hall, Keith See believes that you have to make contact during training if you are to understand how and why the techniques exist. His traditional training style produces a very effective martial artist who knows that his techniques work.

NOTICE: Keith See died Friday, March 2, 2007 at an Irving hospital after a long illness. There is a permanent page set up for messages and photographs at Legacy.com.
