The Magick Of Crystal In Kit Form
I have loose crystals, crystals
placed together for specific purposes, and sets of
crystals that are kept in bags together. The latter are
my crystal healing kits. As crystal use rises, the
creation of kits for specific purposes are becoming more
and more available. Lets take a look at a few kits, a few
sites where these kits can be purchased, and perhaps give
you some idea of what to include in your own kits ...
There are many ways to use crystals for healing, and the
choice of crystals to use within any system will depend
strongly on their interaction with the client being
treated. Some energies may be too strong, some may need
to be stronger. Some clients will require different
combinations of crystals.
Healing
A very basic crystal healing kit for me consists of one
stone for each of the chakras, and four clear quarts
crystals. Remember when you choose your stones that for
healing purposes they will be placed on the body, so look
for a flat side so they will sit well. Keep the stones
relatively small so that they are not overwhelming to the
person being treated. The following are representative
stones -
you may choose to use them,
or choose similar stones of your own:
Root (base) chakra -Smoky Quartz or
Obsedian,
Naval (Sacral) Chakra - Carnelian,
Solar Plexus Chakra - Tiger Eye or Yellow Aventurine,
Heart Chakra - Rose Quartz,
Throat Chakra - Blue Lace Agate,
Third Eye Chakra - Amethyst,
Crown Chakra - Clear Quartz Crystal or Amethyst.
Meditation
The next type of crystal kit that we will look at is one
for meditation. (Please remember - these are
representative of what I would include in a kit for
myself. You will want to choose your own crystals.) One
each Clear Quartz Crystal, Amethyst, Aragonite, Blue Lace
Agate, Hematite, Moonstone, Citrine and Turquoise.
Understanding Self
The purpose of this grouping of stones is different from
that of meditation. Here we are looking to draw in
personal power, personal understanding and unconditional
love and acceptance of self. The stones that I would use
are: one each Clear Quartz Crystal, Rose Quartz,
Amethyst, Angelite, Malachite, Blue Lace Agate,
Chalcedony, Chrysoprase, Dioptase, Kunzite, and
Rhodocrosite.
Dreamtime
Dreamtime is where we solve our problems - where the
issues of the day are released from the bonds of the
conscious self and allowed to find thier own answers.
Some of the stone people that will help us are: Clear
Quartz Crystal, Amazonite, Bloodstone, Danburite,
Diopside, Epidote, Hanksite, Howlite, Kyanite, Moldavite,
Smithsonite and Smokey Quartz.
Manifesting
We need to know that we can do a great deal to help
manifest our goals. The followiong stone people lend
their energies readily to this: Clear Quartz Crystal,
Alexandrite, Bloodstone, Clear Calcite, Carnelian,
Chrysocolla, Diamond, Garnet, Hematite, Lapis Lazuli and
Unakite.
Love/Relationship
These are the energies of the stone people that can aid
us in relationship: Clear Quartz Crystal, Rose Quartz,
Amethyst, Blue Apatite, Dioptase, Diamond, Emerald and
Moonstone.
Wealth/Abundance
These stones aid in drawing wealth and abundance to you:
Ametrine, Citrine, Diamond, Apatite, Emerald, Sapphire
and Tiger's Eye.
Grounding/Centering
These are great crystals to keep on hand when dealing
with stress in any form, and when looking to increase
communications: Clear Quartz Crystal, Amethyst, Azurite,
Bloodstone, Calcite, Epidote, Fluorite, Garnet, Hematite,
Jasper, Tiger's Eye and Turquoise.
I have included Clear Quartz Crystal
in all of my personal crystal kits to help run and
increase the energy of the other crystals. The other
stones were chosen for their specific energetic
properties, and their ability to work together.
