--Terry Funk defeated Chris Candido via pinfall
-They fought through the back and outside; Funk put Candido in the back of a truck and drove off to horse stables where they finished the match


-Showed Vince Russo on the phone with Eric Bischoff; he said knock 'em dead; the Cat then walked into his office, and he told him that since Bishcoff's away and he's busy with the Flair Family feud that he is in charge of everything tonight and can do whatever he wants; Russo told him to give it some style
-Showed the Flair Family arrive in a limo
-Showed Kimberly arrive with photographers waiting for her, and a red carpet waiting at the arena
-Ric Flair came out with his family and said he's not going to cry over what happened on Nitro; he said that David could have been great, but now he has to wrestle Ric Flair at the Great American Bash; he then challenged Russo to come out and wrestle him; Russo came out with David Flair and R&B Security; security got in the ring and stood between Ric and Russo; Russo talked to Flair's wife, and told her that after David beats Ric at the Great American Bash and he retires, that she'll be getting no more money, and he knows that's why she married him; Ric told Russo to just wrestle him, and Russo said it will be a father/son vs father/son match: him and David against Ric and Reid; R&B Security then held Ric while Russo and David beat on him
-Showed Kimberly walk into the Cat's office; she was whining because catering didn't make he special meal; she then said she needed camera time and security, but not R&B Security because they're inadequate; the Cat gave her Mike Awesome
-Showed Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson in the Cat's office; Kidman yelled at her for what she was wearing; she said she always wears stuff like that; he was upset that Horace is the referee in his match at the Great American Bash because he doesn't trust him; the Cat said his best friend Eric Bischoff said he can trust him, so he should trust him; he then asked the Cat for a match with that idiot Sting and that fathead Horace; Torrie told him not to call Horace names; the Cat said he'll give him the match to get him out of his hair
-Mike Awesome and Kimberly came out, and Mike Awesome talked about beating up DDP at the Great American Bash; Kimberly just insulted the fans; a fan ran into the ring, and Mike Awesome put him through a table
-Showed Ric Flair talking to Reid about wrestling tonight
-Showed Shane Douglas in the Cat's office; the Cat said he's going to reward him tonight because Bischoff and Russo have been working him too hard; he said talent needs to be appreciated, and told him he's going to get a shot at the World Heavyweight Title tonight
--Sting defeated Billy Kidman and Horace via a Scorpion Death Lock on Kidman
-Every time Horace tried to pin Sting, Kidman would pull him off; Kidman had Horace set a table up, and then Horace Clotheslined Kidman when Sting ducked; Sting then threw Kidman into the table breaking it in half; he threw Horace over the top rope, and then splashed both of them into the table; he then dragged Kidman in the ring and put him in the Scorpion Death Lock for the win

-After the match, Horace and Kidman got into an argument; Mike Awesome had to come out to keep them from fighting
-Tank Abbott and Rick Steiner were interviewed about wrestling Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash; Abbott then said he's not afraid of facing Goldberg Monday, because it's what he's wanted to do since coming to WCW
-Showed Vince Russo and David Flair talking in the back; Russo said he'd take care of Reid, and David can take his father; Jeff Jarrett walked in upset that he has to wrestle Shane Douglas tonight; Russo told him he's the "Chosen One", and things are taken care of; Jarrett told him he's nuts for getting in the ring
-Showed Norman Smiley and Ralphus walking through a neighborhood; Smiley was trying to figure out why no one was interested in their lawn care service, dog walking service, or their babysitting service; he said they have to figure out a way to get back into WCW; he then saw a sign in a playground that said "WRESTLING TODAY"; Smiley said he has an idea, and Ralphus said he hopes it's better than his last 12 or 13 ideas
-Showed the Cat on the phone saying the match is coming up next, and that he's running a great show; he said he's got to be the greatest
--Jeff Jarrett defeated Shane Douglas via the Stroke
-The Cat came out to watch the match; Jarrett grabbed his scarf and choked the Franchise with it; the Cat told the ref to get his scarf back, but he jsut threw it on the other side of the ring; the Cat went and got his scarf, then got up on the ring apron and shoved the ref; the ref pushed him back knocking him off the apron, and Douglas put Jarrett in the Pittsburgh Plunge; while the ref was bring his arm down for the 3 count, the Cat threw a chair and hit the ref; he then got in the ring and kicked the chair into Douglas' face; Jarrett then put him in the Stroke
-Diamond Dallas Page was interviewed about his relationship with Eric Bischoff, the situation with his wife, David Arquette turning against him, and Kanyon; he told Tenay not to call Mike Awesome the Career Killer because he knows that Kanyon's career is not over; Tenay asked him if he ever considered that all these problems are his fault, and DDP threw his mic on the floor and left

-The Cat was interviewed and said he's going to have Shawn Stasiak and Chuck Palumbo wrestle Kronic tonight, and he will enforce the DQ rule; he said if Kronic gets DQd, they'll lose the belts; Shane Douglas came running at him, and Stasiak and Palumbo had to hold him back; Doulgas asked him why he did what he did, and he said he was under orders; Douglas asked him whose orders, but the Cat wouldn't answer
--Shawn Stasiak/Chuck Palumbo defeated Kronic via DQ for the World Tag Team Championship
-Stasiak was put in High Time, and Palumbo came in the ring with a Lex Flexer and tried to hit Kronic, but missed; Adams grabbed it and hit Palumbo with it causing the DQ
-Showed some kids wrestling on a makeshift ring; Norman Smiley and Ralphus walked up, and Smiley asked them if this was professional wrestling; they said yes, and he told them it was dangerous to do in your backyard and should be left to the professionals; he told them he'd give them a free wrestling clinic; he asked who the champion was, and used him to show some amateur wrestling holds; the third hold he showed, he pinned the kid, had Ralphus count to 3, and ran off with their belt


-Showed an interview Tony Schiavone had with Eric Bischoff earlier today; he asked him about his meetings in California, and he said the deal has been finalized, and they had a lot of attorneys; he said everything is in order and nothing can stop what they have set for the Great American Bash; he said he's all about big decisions and big results
--Vince Russo/David Flair defeated Reid Flair/Ric Flair via pinfall
-Ric Flair told Russo he'd leave the ring for 3 minutes and let Reid wrestle him; Reid took down Russo the whole time; Russo then knocked out Ric with a Statue of Liberty figurine; David then put Reid in a Figure Four, and Russo covered him for the 3 count

-After the match, Russo grabbed a mic and said to Beth, "Are you going to believe me now, or when it's too late?"; she just stared at him with a strange look on her face
-Ric Flair was interviewed and said he has Ted Turner on the phone and wants Russo in a cage on Nitro
-The Cat announced that whoever wins this match will get a title shot against Jeff Jarrett at the great American Bash
-Showed Jeff Jarrett backstage very upset; he said who does the Cat think he is, and then said there won't be a pinfall, but there will be a DQ, and he grabbed his guitar
--Kevin Nash/Scott Steiner defeated Rick Steiner/Tank Abbott via the Jacknife Powerbomb
-Scott Steiner had Abbott in the Steiner Recliner, but Jeff Jarrett came out and hit him with a guitar; the Cat, who was at the announce table for the match, said that the match is a no DQ match; Jarrett then threw a chair to Rick Steiner, but Nash kicked the chair into Steiner's face and then put him in the Jacknife Powerbomb for the win and the title shot at Great American Bash
