Even though George was two years younger than Paul, They got along great. George and Paul took the same bus to school every morning together and talked about music. When Paul met John, they started a band called the Quarrymen. Paul asked George to join but the others thought he was too young. So young George hung out with the guys and also followed John lennon around. George that John was the greatest and tried to be like him. When he got a little older, he joined Paul and John's other band: Johnny and the Moondogs
