The tower at the end of the day.

Founder's Day every year affords guests the opportunity to go up into the tower of the lighthouse. Here are a few pictures commemorating the day. Click on each one to see a bigger picture and then hit your back button to return here.

Unfortunately, I was not able to get the time to take photos of the view from the tower. I hope to take some on November 15, 1999, when the tower will be open again to the public in celebration of the 144th anniversary of the first lighting of the tower in 1855.
