Barbra made her first record in 1955 when she was 13 years old at Nola Recording Studios in New York City but it wasn't until 1963 that Columbia Records signed her and she released her first album.
Now after 35 years, over 50 albums, going Gold, Platinum - (Triple - Quadruple - Quintuple) Barbra is still one of the top International stars of our time. Not just content with having one of the most spellbinding voices of our time, she has proven herself as a wonderful comedic and dramatic actress and more recently talented director. There aren't many living legends but Barbra Streisand has to be one of them.
