A day in the life (of a dog)
Woof, woof! Ah its a beautiful morning and time for a stretch, (wheuoo!) and a good yawn (yaawn). Here she come with my breakfast. Hmm milk and biscuits (chomp chomp slurp slurp). Done! I think I'll take a stroll and smell everything (dwiddle dwiddle sniff sniff). Done! Time to relax. Lie down. Wow! the floor feels so good, let me put my throat against it. Cool! Woof! what is this now hovering over my face? Darn! its a fly. (Swipe) Rats, it escaped. Ok, I'll pretend I'm asleep. Now, I open one of eyes slooowly and there it comes again (swiiipe, munch munch munch....) Not bad, but could have tasted better. Whooo, I'm sleepy (zzzz).
DING DONG (grrr grrr bark bark bark!) Who the hell is on the door? Ah, the milk man. (run) I love scaring him, (bark bark bark). He is gone. Back to my corner, look at the him (master), wag my tail (swoosh swoosh swoosh) and lie down again. Woof! that itching on my ear (scratch scratch) hmmm that was good. What is that big paper he keeps looking at every in the morning. Let me see if it is something to eat. Walk, look at him innocently, Wag my tail (swoosh swoosh swoosh) and smell the paper (sniff sniff)! No, doesn't smell too good. Wow! here comes his tea and biscuits. Wag the tail faster (swoosh swoosh swoosh) and there he gives me my share (chomp chomp chomp). Lie down again (zzz).
He is ready to leave for his work. Let me wag him good bye (swoosh swoosh swoosh). There the kids are also leaving for the school. Woof woof (bye bye). The house is empty except for her. Let me take a stroll (dwiddle dwiddle dwiddle). Done. Time to relax. Hmm, here comes my lunch. Smell the lunch, wag the tail (swoosh swoosh swoosh, chomp chomp chupper chupper). Done! Run around in the house (dwiddle dwidlle dwiddle) back to floor. Yaaaawn, stretch and zzzzz.
DING DONG, jump and run (bark bark) Aha! its the post man. I love chasing him. Hee hee hee! he is gone, man he really looked scared. I just loved it. Back to my floor (zzz).
Aha! the kids are back from the school. Jump and prance around like an idiot. Dance on the hind legs. Climb the sofa, climb the table. Poke my wet nose into their faces. Wag my tail (swoosh swoosh). Yes, give me a scratch. Guve me a Hug. Lick lick lick. Sniff sniff sniff. Hmmmm! Scratch scratch. Scratch. This sure is heaven! Don’t stop, please. OK, they look tired. Thanks anyway! Time for a snooze (zzz). DING DONG, yes, here he comes back from the office. Repeat the above performance. Back on the floor zzz.
Aha! Evening, my favorite time of the day. Time to go out for a walk. he seems tired. Look at him expectantly, wag the tail (swoosh swoosh swoosh). Yes, he understood. There he comes with my leash. Take a walk in the park. Take a crap, take a leak, bark at passing dogs, bark at passing vehicles. Come back, bark at the neighbors, bark at the neighbor's stupid looking dog. Pull the chain as if I'll tear him apart. Gosh! And they call him a dog. He is more like a mouse. I wish someone could let me loose on him (grrr bark bark bark). Back home. Off with the leash, go around the house (dwiddle dwiddle dwiddle). Smell everyone and everything. Lie down and watch TV.
Ahh! dinner time, repeat what I did for lunch (chomp chomp chomp). Go around the house smell everyone and everything (sniff sniff) yaaaawn, stretch and zzzzz. Keep everyone up at home in the night by barking at the slightest sounds.
