Fourteen Days in March

In March of 2000, we traveled to China to be united with our daughter. We were one of thirteen families adopting through Great Wall China Adoption agency based in Austin, Texas. Our group of 31 people (which would grow to 44) was quite diverse:

8 families were first time parents
4 families were traveling with children
4 families were single parents - 2 cousins, a brother and mother accompanied them
2 families were adopting from China for the second time
1 family was an expedited referral
