Little Bit is a nine year old Black and Tan. I gave her to my Mom because of her being alone at the time and she showed her natural talents by digging and eating carpet. Killing flies and making any loud noise causes her to sound off.
She has passed her prime for puppies but, she doesn't seem to know it.So twice a year she spends two weeks all by her self.
She is really a loveable little girl except when it appears her treat is going to be "snagged" by one of the "troops".
Daisy is a five year old "red" and a short haired female, her mom is Little Bit. Her daddy is Charlie and you will meet him on The Boys page.
She has problems haveing puppies as she supplies to much milk and we have to take them from her and bottle feed them. She deletes the Calcium and becomes "toxic" so at the age of three to four days we take over.
She is a lovable little girl, loves to be petted and if we don't pet long enough, she begins to "dig" at us so, we call her our little "digger". She has a litter mate that is as different from her as night and day.
Belle is Daisys litter mate. She is also a "red" short haired female. She is short and stocky and for some reason has never learned to jump on anything. We have to lift her on the bed at night.
She lets you know when she wants up with a high pitched "yelp", which gets louder and louder the longer it takes for you to respond.
She is also the only one who sits on her "hinney" and waves her front paws at you for food.
Her litters are always small, she usually has only three and of course her favorite place is in the bed. My bed.
Snoopy is her father and her mother is Little Bit. You will meet Snoopy on the Boys Page.
Annie is a three year old black and tan female. She came to us at the age of 3 days old. Her mother had many problems and because Belle just had a puppy we were hoping she might wet nurse her.
Now Belles puppy was five weeks old but, still nursing so, we placed little "Orphan Annie" in the puppy box and held our breath.
Now there was no problem in fact, it was funny when Belle did a double take from one puppy to the other. We had two baby beds one in the front room and one in the bedroom. At night we moved puppies to the bedroom. Belle was always there first and would strain her neck to look thru the door to see if Annie was being delivered.
She is a lovable girl how ever, her attitude is very similar to Little Bits but, they are no relation. And, she only wants to be held, when she wants to be. She hates Daisy,
when Daisy is in "her" yard or going out "her" door.
Tiki is a short haired "red" female two years old. Annie is her mother and her daddy is up for grabs. We had a sweetie named Chip that went to "doggie" heaven in Dec of 1997. She was one of a litter of six but, because she had a crooked tail no one wanted her so, we kept her for our selves.
She is a timid little girl. If we raise our voice to her she heads for "under" the bed, her favorite hiding place.
How ever she is a very good talker. She lets us know when its "chow" time or time for loving.
One strange thing is she isn't interested in "boys" yet.
