Senshi Olympics

I have come up with a new idea for this site.

Well, you know about Senshi Battle Zone, right? And you know about my 'fighting arena' known as Senshi Kombat. Unfortunately, the webmasters of Senshi Battle Zone found Senshi Kombat to be way too similar to their site, after I consulted them about it. Sailor Callisto and Mako-chan were very nice about it.

At first, I planned Celebrity Mortal Kombat, but I dumped that idea, saying it was too similar to Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV (only difference, is that the Senshi would battle various celebrities and other superheroes). Then, as I was watching TV, I got an idea for a basketball tournament between SM characters. I saw a Goodwill Games advertisement on TV and decided to go further than a little game of b-ball - I decided to do a whole athletic tournament between all of the Senshi.

So, with that idea, out goes Senshi Kombat (and Celebrity Mortal Kombat) and in comes the Summer Senshi Olympics!

What's going to be featured in this major athletic competition?

Track and Field events
Swimming and Diving events
Gymnastics
A basketball tournament
A baseball tournament
An American football tournament
A soccer (elswhere on the planet, known as football) tournament
A martial arts competition (with the help of Senshi Battle Zone)

I'm hoping to strike a deal with Sailor Callisto and Makoto, webmasters of Senshi Battle Zone. We will have the Summer Senshi Olympics with the martial arts competition - only we won't write the martial arts competition - Sailor Callisto and Makoto will hold that job. If they accept my proposition, the martial arts tournament will be included in the Senshi Olympics games. If not, I'll hold the games without the martial arts tournament.

Currently, I am working on the gymnastics tournament and the track and field events, and I'mon the verge of finishing up that portion of the Summer games.

As for the Winter Senshi Olympics:

Skiing tournament
Sledding tournament
Snowboarding tournament
Ice hockey tournament
Figure skating
Speed skating
Ice Dancing

I will have to fill in all slots...judge and commentator. After all, this is a story.

The contestants will be the Senshi (inner and outer), the Sailor Starlights, the Sailor Animates, the Amazoness Quartet, the Amazon Trio, the Dark Kingdom generals, the two aliens, the Ayakashi Sisters, Rubius, Prince Diamond, Sappire, Emerald, Sailor Galaxia and characters from my fan fics.

In all, this is gonna be an exciting event. This year, the Games will be held on the Black Moon. Next year, the host will be the Dark Kingdom. And year 2000? The Nineverse, of course!

This concept of Senshi Olympics is completely original. The first events (the hurdle run in Track and Field and the Diving Competition in the Swimming Tournament) is being written as this article goes to press. I ask you NOT to snatch this original idea for the Senshi to compete against each other in a athletic competition (unless you thought of yours before I did, which I highly doubt). Like Sailor Callisto and Makoto at Senshi Battle Zone, we want to have a completely original feature on our web page. Email me if you have any more questions.

Ugh @ this. For some completely insane reason I wrote this in the third person...I just edited this file and it is totally old, but it shows you how and when I came up with the whole Senshi Olympics thing.
