Former Members of the New Orleans Assassins Guild

If I ever get my scanner working again (yeah right), you'll get to see pictures of the now dead members of the Assassins guild, but for now, you'll have to be satisfied with what you see here. And no, I have never seen a better picture of Julien.

MARIUS BOUDREAUX: Former patriarch of the Assassins Guild, Marius was the father of Julien and Bella Donna and rival of former Thieves Guild patriarch Jean-Luc LeBeau. Marius made his first appearance in the second book of the first Gambit LS, and his final appearance was in the Rogue LS #1. He and Jean-Luc put their differences aside for the sake of their clans when they arranged the marriage between Bella Donna and Jean-Luc's son Remy. The marriage failed, but the two Guilds did eventually unify after being at war for many generations, after Marius and Jean-Luc were out of the picture. Marius was responsible for finally ending the life of his son Julien for the sake of everyone in both families. Marius himself died of a mysterious heart attack. His funeral was held during the Rogue LS.

JULIEN BOUDREAUX: Son of Marius, brother of Bella Donna, Julien made his first appearance (as an unnamed Assassin) in X-Men #8 and as a main character in the Gambit LS #1. Like all the other assassins, Julien was given special powers by Candra the External, but it was never clarified what his powers were. He also somehow managed to get a taste of the Elixir of Life (given to the Thieves Guild by Candra) and it destroyed him, making him crave it and do whatever he could to get more. He wanted the Assassins to have both the Power and the Elixir, but he was stopped by his ex-brother-in-law, Remy, who needed the Elixir to save Bella Donna's life. Julien at one point admitted to Remy the true reason for his challenging Remy on the night of Remy and Bella Donna's wedding. He said that Remy had ruined his plan, and that Bella Donna was supposed to marry him, not Remy. Kinda makes me think the man was just a wee bit nuts…Bel was his sister after all. Julien was eventually killed, not by Remy, but by his own father, Marius, who felt that his son had gone too far driven by greed.

FRANCOIS CHICAULT: A member of Clan Boudreaux who was turned into a vampire, as mentioned by Ministers Tome and Hoard to Bella Donna in Gambit #4. He threatened the Antiquary's Clan of the Thieves Guild, but was eventually stopped when Jean-Luc LeBeau made a deal with Tome and Hoard, and with the help of Gambit and Blade, the Thieves stopped him.
