MSF Hamdani Nakhda has been tested to be homozygous for black. This is the first replacement stallion for his dam, MSF Nefertiti (MSF Sheikh Habib x MSF Rawa, black roan). MSF Hamdani Nakhda's black Babson sire, Faydin (Mahrouf x Roufina) stands at stud through frozen semen in the USA. Nakhda is one of the few uniquely bred horses within Desert & Egyptian Arabian breeding which is from an almost extinct family "strain" of Hamdani Simri from the Abbas Pasha(1850) mare SELMA(AP).
