Michelle Williams (Jennifer Lindley)


"D's Creek" is be her first starring role in a series, but Michelle Williams is a veteran of film and television projects.

A small town girl, Williams was born and raised in rural Kalispell, Mont. She moved to San Diego with her family at the age of 10. She got involved in community theatre and was soon commuting to Los Angeles for professional auditions.

When she was 14, Williams made hit the big-screen for the first time in the 1994 family film "Lassie." Then, she was cast as the young alien in the film "Species."

Recently, Williams was in a dramatic feature called "A Thousand Acres," starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jason Robards and Jessica Lange. Williams also starred in the television movie "A Mother's Justice."

In her spare time, Williams (now 17) is an avid reader. Currently, her favorite authors Hermann Hesse, Dostoyevsky and Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. She also enjoys boxing, which feeds into her early childhood fantasy of becoming the first female heavyweight champion of the world.

At the moment, Michelle Williams is featured in the film "Halloween - H2O", the sequel of the old "Halloween" starring Jamie Lee Curtis.
