1917 50th Anniversary of Confederation
Between 1911 and 1926 a long series of stamps, including various reprints,
provisionals, coils and variations were issued bearing the same portarit
of George V in military Uniform. they have been dubbed the "Admiral series"
and it has been the subject of a great many philatelic studies. A few First
day covers are known for those, none with cachets.
in 1917 a lone issue was produced to celebrate Canada's 50th Anniversary.
No cachet are known for this issue.
