GABRIEL, HANNUKA, TASHTAV

The candle cups rest on the name Gabriel. The center of the stem is the first letter of Hannuka, the "het", with the remaining letters of the word written inside.
The lower part is the Hebrew year of Gabriel's birth - 5716. Etched on the right side of the base is the famous bas relief found on the arch of Triumph showing Titus' soldiers carrying the captured Jewish candelabrum through the streets of Rome.
On the left side of the base there is a detail from the famous modern sculpture by Rappaport, situated in the judean Hills, showing the pioneers bring the candelabrum back to Jerusalem.
The front of the base has scenes of Jerusalem on it.
