'Dad Savage' premieres on UK TV
The little seen British thriller 'Dad Savage' in which Patrick plays the title role, is being shown by Channel 4 on Tuesday 5th June at 00:05

Although the film only had a very limited theatrical release (hands up anyone else who managed to catch it! ), the reviews were not bad and Stewart's lead role was marked out for praise by several critics.

The reason for the late showing is probably because the film is quite violent, but still well worth setting the video for....

BBC documentary finally airs
BBC logo. The Best of British documentary which was made last year by the BBC about Patrick is finally being broadcast on Wed. 30th May on BBC1 at 22:40 pm.

No idea why they have suddenly decided to show it now but there's little competition on the other UK terrestrial channels that evening, unless you're riveted by party political debate.....

Thanks to Aline Davis and Tracey Garvey

Stewart to voice British animated film
Patrick will be lending his voice to a new British CGI film called 'Water Warriors' about aliens who invade Earth, underestimate the planet's size, and end up fighting frogs in a pond for water!

Due to be made later this year by Graham Ralph from his own original story, the film has received backing from the UK Film Council and will also feature the voice of Stephen Fry.

Watch out for Spider on the web!
With the success of 'X-Men' it looks like comic book heroes are all the rage at the moment. Another of DC comics titles called  'Transmetropolitan' is being made into a series of Flash-animated shorts by Sony Digital for their new Screenblast.com site.

Transmetropolitan is written by Brit Warren Ellis and follows the adventures of  former reporter Spider Jerusalem who retired to the mountains to escape the city, but through circumstances has to return to the place he hates in order to write.

Not only is Stewart due to voice Spider in the animated series and produce the project with his 'Flying Freehold' company, but there's the hope he would also appear as Spider in a full length live action film which Ellis is currently writing a screenplay for.

Find out more about the project at Corona's site
