"We are thought without form...all else is choice"---(Delphic inscription, 500-BC)

"The History of the Technique"

After a decade+ of an exhaustive, meta-analysis research project... a single core SuperConsciousness focus was accepted.

The concept transcended polar-consciousness... matter does not issue from mind... nor does mind issue from matter... then the essence is non-knowable by polar intellect concepts. This focus (Brahma) was first documented in one of the most ancient and profound text ever uncovered... the Tibetan scrolls known as the Upanishads or "the Book of Secrets"... in Sanskrit: author(s) and dates unknown but believed to predate history by thousands of years. Some, 5,000 years ago, a document called the Vigyana Bhairava Tantra, was given by Shiva to his consort Devi... said to be a complete list of mind techniques (112) to transcend polar-consciousness.

In the 6th century BC... the technique was attributed to the Buddha in Nepal or Northern India... and it was called "DHYANA" in Sanskrit language... it was the exact technique said to have been used by Buddha to earn and win his enlightenment... this technique focused again to dissolve the polar-mind in "Change and Unchange... or as we call it in NLT. Next, the Bodhidharma took the technique to Emporer Wu in China at the Shao-Lin monestary, where he also created "KUNG FU". Lao (Sun) Tzu creates the Tao at this same time.

Dhyana was refocused into ZEN by the 6th Patriarch, Hui-neng (638-713ad) known as the "instant enlightenment" Southern China school.

In the West, Pythagoras, the father of mathematics and philosophy, Alexander the Great, Socrates and the greatest Western Philosopher Plato... all used a form of the technique. In modern times, Sir Isaac Newton and others carried the torch forward. In the early 1900's, Einstein proved the existence of the technique with his E = mc2 or matter as frozen light energy patterns. Today, versions of the concept are being used by countless growing numbers of high and low profile persons worldwide... some high profile examples are found in the Roster of Technique Users... and one famous example is the Dalai Llama himself who uses a technique daily in the ancient but difficult to access Tibetan form.
