This page is going to be for my daughter's work. It will usually be creative writing or drawing. Sometimes, I might add some of her math or photographs that she takes with the camera we got her for Christmas. Within the next few weeks, I am going to add some pictures that she has taken since Christmas and some pictures of our field trip to Yosemite. Please feel free to write to Jessica and tell her what you think of her work. Her address jessilu@rocketmail.com Thank you.

Jessica's Stories

A DOG NAMED CODY

Once, there was a dog named Cody who had an owner named Jessica. They played lots of games: tag, tug o' war, fetch, and hide 'n' seek. But, now, Cody is dead. Jessica was very sad. She even wanted to die herself. But, in a way, she was happy that her dog was not sick any more.

CARDINALS

If you ever saw a cardinal, you should know they never fly south. Usually, cardinals stay where they were born.I like to go outside and watch the cardinals. Cardinals are red birds. Sometimes, I hear cardinals tell tales about unicorns. And to do math, they count. They don't add. And, when they got done with their math, they found my favorite bracelet!

POTATO CHIPS

Potato chips are good. I eat potato chips everyday. Someday, I'm going to make potato chips. My friend, Julia, mixes her potato chips with her cake. Pretty funny, huh? In fact, Julia says that she is a potato chip, but she also says she hates potato chips and she loves them.

Lions

Lions are big cats. Lionesses are girl lions. They do the hunting. The babies are called cubs. Some lions live in Africa and some live in zoos. When the lioness is a cub she does not have to hunt. The cubes are small but the adults are huge. When the lionesses go hunting, the cubs are put in some kind of day care.
