What's new since your last visit?

This is me with some of our 2005 border collie puppies - there were 15 in all from 3 litters

January 15th 2008

I'm not sure anyone will read this. Its so long since I updated my website that I guess no one bothers to check the update anymore. I do have plans to change that and am writing a new batb story. In fact I would like to start writing them again perhaps not with the same flair as before, but as often as I can. I have a few other websites dotted about, and you may like to visit one of them namely:
FLOAT

This website covers by instalments my non fiction book FLOAT that deals with connecting with angels, positive thinking, messages from angels and my own experiences with psychic development since Jan 2006. You will be amazed I am sure when you read of all that has happened to me during the past 2 years.
My new batb story is entitled Operation Ice Fawn and I will upload it when I have written it, rather than upload it in installments and then never complete it. I intend to complete those other stories too, namely Triangle, Once in a Lifetime, The International Year of the Beast and Espirito Santos.
I thank you for the continuation of letters I receive for appreciating my stories and letters asking when I am going to write some more or finish those mentioned above.
I have done many things in the last 2 years, and am now a REIKI practitioner and spend a good deal of time working with angels. There is much I know now that I never knew 2 years ago. And it is very likely that my new stories will reflect this newfound knowledge.
I fully understand Vincent and Catherine's bond, and now know how it works (it has happened to me) and I can also explain how you too can develop such a bond with your loved ones.
Give me time and I will bounce back more fully, I have never forgotten my roots are in batb land or that I have a host of good friends in fandom.
I have been enjoying picking up acquaintances in Winterfest 2008, and being reminded of what I have missed these past 2 years. Wasn't it wonderful to speak with David Greenlee the other night? I have fondness for his batb character Mouse, as I know we all have. I do hope he attends the UK con in Somerset in October 2008 or the one in Devon in 2009, so that I may meet him. I am so looking forward to attending those conventions and meeting up with many of you again.
Well enough waffling. I have a few things to tie up with FLOAT and then I'm all yours. Be well, Wendy TDV.

Hi all,

I'd like to ask for the support of all those that enjoy my stories and would be happy to see Star Spangled Night Mare made into a feature length film.

James Devin, the actor from South Carolina who proposes to direct the movie, has opened a Yahoo Group so that his colleagues & friends and mine and all those people that read the book can trot along there and offer their comments (hopefully nice ones) so that proposed investors will see for themselves the amount of interest there is for the film.

This is a big risk and it could go either way, so your support would be immensely appreciated.

Please join:

YAHOO SSNM

All you need to do is go along there and recommend me as a writer and the story itself as interesting enough to be made into a film and be successful.

James intends to offer one of the parts to a batb actor, but we cannot release their name as they have yet to be approached.

As you may be aware the book is released today at Publish America, but is also on sale at Amazon and various other online stores. That wasn't a plug to go buy one, I know it appears that it was, but it wasn't ok?
Honest.

If you could pass the word around that too would be appreciated.

I'll leave it with you, and hope that you will help.

Many thanks
Wendy.

Announcing my first professionally published book...

September 19th 2005

Hi, update on SSNM - 30 days from now and it should be for sale at Amazon.com. Wow, I am ecstatic! I was led to believe by the contract that it would take up to a year to be published. I have also to write to various branches of Ottakers book stores to have them carry the book and do book signings. I have to confess I'm not too thrilled about that I prefer to write rather than be seen (except for batb conventions) but its in the contract that I have to do this. OTTAKERS are the best place for that sort of thing in the UK. Oh btw, Publish America have changed their policy, they are starting to allow bookstores to return unsold copies of books they have ordered. This is great since that will encourage more stores to purchase direct from PA, and thus more authors will become known. PA currently handle 13,000 authors, have 40,000 waiting to be accepted, and it is expected that by the year 2010 they will handle in excess of 100,000 authors. Isn't that amazing? Surely POD (print on demand) publishing will be a thing of the future. Agents are too picky, a writer wants to be published. PA gives them the chance.

August 24th 2005

Just wanted to tell you where I am up to on the publication of SSNM. I signed and returned the contract with Publish America. I know they are controversial, but after much deliberation and asking advice from authors who have signed with them I decided that they could at least get the story into print, whereas the 523 agents I wrote to, and had only 7 reply, all of which turned the story down, were obviously not going to do so.

Since PA has a story of a similar title on their list however, I had to change the story title to Star Dappled Night Mare. I have bumped it up by another 23,000 words and it is now ready to rock so to speak. For your information, it will be available to purchase at Amazon.com and a few other online bookstores, not certain when though.

Royalties are minimal, but I retain the audio and movie rights, so that's ok. Basically its just going to be great to see it in print.

I am now modifying the story Blue Topaz to become a sequel to Star Spangled Night Mare, and will be extracting that story from this website sometime during the next few weeks. Therefore if you haven't read it yet I'd advise that you do so while there's still time.

On this last day of Summer I've been writing two more chapters of Once in a Lifetime 3 which are uploaded now. Mind you I was out this morning playing football with my youngest son, four border collie dogs and a puppy. No easy game with 5 dogs I can tell you! Fun though, LOL.

July 27th 2005

I've simplified the home page. I know it was very pretty before, but took an age to open. Now you can buzz in there and out again quickly and either come here to the update page or go straight to the story index.
Also, if you are reading or haven't yet read Blue Topaz, you should know that I shall be pulling this story from the website. I am going to modify it and try to have it published professionally. Therefore, should I delete it from the site while it is being read, please email me privately and I will forward it to you.

Concluding Werewolf. Chapter Seven is uploaded. Next I am going to work on Once in a Lifetime and conclude that too without doing a part three afterall. I have too many stories hanging on awaiting completion and not the time to get stuck into them, so I am going to round them off as quickly as possible. I hope you enjoy Werewolf.

March 29th 2004

My apologies for no updates or none of my story instalments since - goodness was it December! I have been involved in something wonderful which at this stage am not at liberty to say what. However, for any of you that may have heard rumours, I can tell you that they are true and as soon as I am able I will update here, okay?
In the meantime I will begin writing batb fanfic again beginning this coming week and hopefully get all these unfinshed stories completed in the not too distant future.
Be well everyone. Many hugs,
Wendy.

I'm back!

With a brand new story that will begin in the NightStar site within the next couple of days, however you can link to it from here or by going to the index for PG stories. I think this new story will be one of intrigue rather than romantic or sexual. It is by instalments and is entitled 'The International Year of the Beast'. I hope you enjoy it.
