October 9th 2007Hi, long time no see. However that doesn't mean I've forgotten you all. Perhaps you wondered where I had gone to? Well I have a couple of new websites and pursuits I am following, namely writing metaphysical books and developing a holistic wildlife retreat in Lincolnshire, UK.
The movie of Star Spangled Night Mare is still going ahead (these things take a good 5 years to accomplish apparently) and its been 3 years already! Actually 3 and a half, goodness how time flies!
I think about V&C often especially since knowing first hand what it is like to have a bond with someone, having had that experience last year when I met one of my soul mates. To save you wasting time by continually checking this site for updates and due to health problems with my husband and myself, I hereby announce that there will be no further updates to this website until at least November 2003 at which time I shall hopefully update accordingly. My apologies to those awaiting story instalments. I have not felt well enough to write any instalments or new stories during the past 8 weeks.
July 26th 2003My apologies for no recent updates or new story instalments and my thanks to all who have written showing concern for this. I haven't been well and that has also caused writer's block, but I have been reading a book a day roughly to keep my mind actively on stories. This is one of the publisher's requirements - I must read as many of their publications for the next six months as I can before selecting which one of their departments to write for and submit to, and I confess to realising it will be more of a challenge than I first imagined but nonetheless something I am looking forward to doing.
However, don't think that I have forgotten where my roots lie, I owe my talent to many of your comments and encouragement and ultimately in the beginning to Beauty and the Beast. I will be back, can't say when, but I will be back. Till then keep well and stay safe, love from Wendy.

Sorry no updates, had trouble with my modem till yesterday. I have been busy doing other stuff too so I have no instalments to upload until I start writing again. I have some non BatB stories that I am going to upload though and I wanted to tell you this good news...I directed a publisher to this website and they have written to ask me to write them a story that they will pay me for and I'll continue to earn from it in sales. Great huh? Now all I need is a theme. I confess writing stories without Vincent and Catherine and the tunnels in it is quite difficult at first, but I intend to give it my best shot and I'd like to thank all you guys for your love and support and encouragement in giving me the confidence to try.

June 13th 2003My apologies for taking so long to update my website and provide another instalment to Once in a Lifetime. I have been proofreading and editting that particular story and coming to a decision regarding it. To me it is one of the best stories I have written and is becoming the longest, and I realised I could go two ways with it. End it swift and move on to another story or continue its format through several more issues that might have faced Vincent and Catherine in such a situation. I've opted for the latter and because that might easily cover another 100 pages and several more chapters I am installing a part three and taking a short break with it. This is not done to have you climbing the walls in desperation but rather because I have other stories that I want to focus on and also because I have seen the enhancement of waiting between parts to continue a story thus gaining the best format for it as time allows me to build around the main plot. Therefore please enjoy Chapter Fifteen of Once in a Lifetime and know that its continuation and conclusion will follow as soon as possible

Re: Once in a Lifetime - I've changed Chapter 8 and 9, and so you don't have to go re-read it, this is what I've done. I've decided that Catherine carrying leonine genes was a bit far fetched, and so I have written that one of Vincent's relatives befriended Catherine's great grandmother and after she recieves a vision about her Vincent's relative hands Catherine's great grandmother the box that contains details of the leonine history and future. Years later Charles is then told by his grandmother that a descendant will one day meet a leonine and the two will marry and be happy and will in time reproduce another leonine, and so the line will continue passing from grandparent to grandchild, until the world is ready to accept a leonine in their midst. This way Vincent and Catherine realise that their meeting was not pure chance but rather at the hand of destiny which is why they share the connection.
If anyone discovers references to what I had written previously after the beginning of chapter nine would they please let me know so that I can alter that also as I won't be proofreading this story until it is completed. Many thanks.
