A musical veteran of 10 years, Paul began taking piano lessons at an early age, but then, as most children do, abandoned the instrument for a time. Paul grew up on a mixture of early rock & roll accompanied with the eclectic sounds of the 80's. In this time he taught himself the rudiments of guitar, using his favorite group, the Beatles as a model. In 1985 he decided to take lessons again, reentering the fold with a new found diligence. Synthesizers and digital pianos wove its way into Paul's creative outpouring.
He joined the Headliners in 1987 at the age of 17. The music of the 50's and 60's opened up to him with the quartet. In the band Paul found his stage presence and his singing voice. |
