Paul Vincent - Celebrating Music of the 70's, 80's & 90's

BIOGRAPHY

"A Musical Journey"

1987

A musical veteran of 10 years, Paul began taking piano lessons at an early age, but then, as most children do, abandoned the instrument for a time. Paul grew up on a mixture of early rock & roll accompanied with the eclectic sounds of the 80's. In this time he taught himself the rudiments of guitar, using his favorite group, the Beatles as a model. In 1985 he decided to take lessons again, reentering the fold with a new found diligence. Synthesizers and digital pianos wove its way into Paul's creative outpouring.

He joined the Headliners in 1987 at the age of 17. The music of the 50's and 60's opened up to him with the quartet. In the band Paul found his stage presence and his singing voice.

Feeling the need to play some of the music he grew up on, Paul joined See No Evil in 1990, playing guitar for the first time on stage, and liking the feeling of breaking out from behind his stack of keyboards.

To round out his musical background, Paul became the fourth member of the eventual TNT Band, an eight piece outfit with horns. The funky rhythms and diversity of the members led to an understanding of composition and arranging.

And now, after 10 years of being in a group situation, Paul has decided to embark on a musical journey of his own. Playing in his self titled solo act.
