Lift: A song played very often before OKC, but never really fitted in on the album.
The band love the song and they even think about putting it out as the lead single.
True Love Waits: A mellow song with strumming guitars.
It is mentioned on Radiohead website, where Thom have wrote some weird lines about men being sexist etc.
Motion Picture Soundtrack: A song that Thom really loves, described by him as
"a song that you just wake up at night singing for yourself".
The song is kind of quiet at the verse but really goes on the chorus by Thom singing "I think your crazy, maybe".
Ed recently said that the song is in the vein of Karma Police.
Man-o-war: A song that was made in the Bends era (!), but didn`t come out alright. Thom says he really likes the melodrama the have given the song now.
Nude (Big ideas): Acoustic song with Thom on Rhodes piano. Thom wanted to call it "Your home is at risk if you dont keep up with payments", but he felt it wasnt catchy enough.
I Promise: A beautiful ballad-like song that has been around for a while. the band was heard soundchecking it during their '97 tour.
Ed describes their new version as a Roy Orbison style power-ballad.
