Bernie had a passion for watching things grow and develop. At the end of each Summer he would take seeds from existing plants and dry them out for the next season's planting along with those that he purchased. They would then be placed in small containers until they sprouted, were ready for potting and then introduced to the great outdoors to be over seen by his watchful eye.
