Success in raising other vegetation was not as rewarding as his flowers but he never gave up trying. His 3" diameter cantaloupe and his cotton plants were his crowning glory. These were shared with neighbors along with some of his edible tomatoes. There were other happy fruit and vegetables that I now share with you.
