The following is from the Official Moist Page... a recent e-mail from David Usher to Andrea K.
for the final video for little songs i wanted to make something that was in tune with the process of the record, something personal, created with and by friends. ... we just went ahead, quietly, one might even say secretly, on our own. i am fortunate to be surrounded by a group of people that come from an indy art background and mind set, ... charge ahead the idea was to do a behind the scenes video with less flash and fewer cuts. i wanted to capture the musicians and crew involved in putting together the live version of little songs. the video follows the reversals in toronto, a small show for thirty friends at holy joes and then finally the show at musique plus the sink footage (me with guitar) was shot at our apartment in montreal, sabrina directed it with assistance of steven and myself. tony was also helping out [and} musique plus has been incredibly supportive, we have a common mind on things i think if you want to see the video on much music, drop them an email, im going to send it to them this week.
thanks to Andrea K. @ the Official Moist Page

David did an interview on Wednesday (november 11th) at Musique Plus, he explained that the footage used was shot by his wife, Sabrina, in their apartment and during his performance at musique Plus. David also mentioned that he did the editing.
Andrea K. believes it was shot in Super 8 format (film) since she noticed the camera Sabrina had.
thanks again to Andrea at OMP

David and Sabrina buy/eat green apples.

The video for St. Lawrence River, which primiered November 9th, was edited by David and shot in his apartment by his wife, it also features clips from his Musique Plus intimate performance.

The video for the third single from Little Songs, "St. Lawrence River", primered this week on musique plus' Interfax.
thoughts from Aleta [from the last half]...it was really good. it is basically of the making of the song, i mean, i thinkit is filmed in dave's apt, and there are shots of dave singing, of him infront of this giant sound board, of some of the people working, of people sitting on a couch. dave is wearing the same hat as in the en ligne thing (or a similar one) at the end of the video, you can see kevin in the background just standong around the couch, jeff is there, but he isn't clear at all.
thanks to both Aleta and Jenn for the info

The Montreal show with David Usher at MusiquePlus was not an 'enligne', it was rather a small intimate and very laid back show with about 80 people attending.. The set was similar to a living room, with live musicians.
The musicians did a run through of the entire album with the exception of mood song. Last night's musicians were: kevin young, another kevin on cello, guitarist, byron wong on bass, jeff pearce also played bass on St. Lawrence river, and a percussionist as well.
It was taped yesterday evening (wednesday sept. 16th) and will be AIRED ON MUSIQUEPLUS OCTOBER 17TH AT 8h00 PM. (either as a ConcertPlus or En Ligne)

Tonight, Saturday October 17th @ 8:00 p.m. MusiquePlus presents "DAVID USHER Petites Chansons". Rerun Sunday, October 18th @ 4 a.m. & 12 p.m. Lenght: 60 minutes. See www.musiqueplus.com/nouveau/texte/emissions/Concertplus.html.

There is a pretty likely possiblity that David Usher will do a club tour in the states to support Little Songs. More info to come.
For all of you who are pissed off by the fact he's showing up at 19+ venues, sources say he wishes to market a different audience. (read between the lines, older, more mature, people who would/could relate to him better).

There might be more canadian apperances such as Holy Joe's in Toronto a couple of weeks ago. And the rumored show tonight in Guelph.

David presented an award for best R+B artist at the 1998 MuchMusic Video Awards. He recorded a "Speakers Corner segment", with Paul [Wilcox]

(i should have told you this earlier but some reason i thought the show was next friday) David did not perfom, due to an illness in the band. His percussionist got sick and went back to Toronto. Both Kevin and Paul attended the show, and did a few songs with I Mother Earth. Supposedly David stayed home because he was pissed he couldn't play.
thanks to Aleta for the detailed info, and to an unknown source whose information i made useless. sorry.

Rumor David's book might be poetry.
