You can find an article on MOIST in Thursday's music section of Jam Online!. The article, written by Karen Bliss, is titled Moist working on new LP.
Here are a few things that are mentioned in the article:
MOIST WILL HEAD OUT NEXT WEEK FOR NASHVILLE (FOR THREE WEEKS) TO MIX THEIR THIRD ALBUM.
THE SONG UNDERGROUND (WHICH INCLUDES A STRING SECTION) WAS SUBMITTED FOR THE CRUEL INTENTIONS SOUNDTRACK, BUT DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT.
ONE OF THEIR GOALS IN MAKING THIS ALBUM WAS TO MAKE THEIR SOUND GROW.
THEY'VE RECORDED MORE THAN A DOZEN SONGS SINCE ENTERING STUDIO PICCOLO.
THEY'VE BEEN USING A FEW NON-TRADITIONAL INSTRUMENTS, BUT THEY'VE BEEN PLAYING A LOT WITH A NORD ANALOG SYNTHESIZER KEYBOARD.
THEY STILL HAVEN'T PICKED A TITLE - "We're looking through the song titles and the lyrics and trying to find something taken from the record that will somehow suit the overall thing. It's hard to do before the final mixing. You get an idea of what the songs are doing in the rough mixes but sometimes things really blossom in the mix." -MARK MAKOWAY

There is a pretty good chance that Moist is on Edgefest's bill. If you are in the Toronto area, listen to The Edge Monday April 5th 1999, between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. to hear the complete lineup.

CMJ Magazine (see the entry for Friday 19th of March 1999), mentioned that David would tentativly tour starting in late april. They also omit to say if the tour would be in either Canada or the States. Chances are they meant the States.

thanks to Morphine for the info

Resurrection played in the series finale of 'Due South' (Canadian show about a mountie). The scene in particular is when Fraser (the mountie) and Ray (the american cop) are sledding down a mountain.

The guys are almost done, tired of being alienated in a small box in the outskirts of montreal with a purpose that doesn't seem to be sorting itself out, ... no that is simply my own rambling.
What i meant to say, is Moist is almost done recording their album, they have two weeks of recording left, ( as of now they have 3/4 of the future album done and reading for mixing) and they are anxiously awaiting their trip to Nashville at the end of the month.

Kevin has contributed to the most recent publication of Canadian Musician magazine (how to be heard in the recording process), in keyboard - of course.
thanks to Trickster for the information above

Little Songs, David's solo effort, debuts March 23rd in the United States. The following is a review by CMJ Magazine, an american colledge radio publication.
At first listen, little songs comes off exactly as it's title suggests - an album of spartan structurally and instrumentally modest tunes. But subsequent listenings, as well as the songwriter's claim that the album was initially entitled "little songs to fuck to" reveal the tracks' more subversive and deceptively complex, qualities. With his feather-light tenor and spare acoustic guitar and piano-based arrangements, Usher is something of a bedroom-groomed folkie, recalling touchstones like Leonard Cohen, as well as pop-leaning newcomers like Dave Matthews. But subtle touches such as a distant, booming drum lop or a sharp string or brass arrangement underscoring the singer's voice and guitar lend an air of modern anxiety to "little songs" already cautionary tales.
thanks to trickster...once again.

The most recent issue of Chart Magazine contains a feature on canadian music and includes many pictures of canadian artists, such as David Usher last year @ Edgefest.
