Marketing Your Facility
Your guests are happy at your facility, and so are your team members,
but you are still not meeting your budget, or making the profits you need.
You attend the chamber of commerce in your area, and are active on committees,
you participate in school functions as a volunteer, and you are
an active member of rotary and kiwanis in your area, but why aren't you attracting new guests?
Well, where are the kids anyway? that was an excuse i used to hear all the time....
oh, the school is on a bowling trip this week, or there is a festival in town, or
there is a big parade this afternoon. Well why aren't we there i asked!!!
RollerSports offers a unique plan that makes marketing your facility a fun
experience for you, i have never marketed to a dentist before, but i made it fun!
i simply took a stab at my own dentist after watching the receptionist hand a little child a plastic playtoy.
I decided i could design a brush and skate pass valid for one free admission to the child who braved his dentist visit, and get a new customer, then the trick is to entertain that new customer, and keep them coming back, with friends!
Give away free admission???? you are out of your mind, most say. Well, news for you, the amount of marketing cost to bring in one new customer into your facility is outrageous!
To keep that customer at your facility is a piece of cake with the right environment, and the right team.
E-Mail Me Your Ideas And Suggestions:
Marketing your business means you have to get involved.
You should be promoting your business everywhere there is
a consumer with a disposable entertainment budget,
or extra money.
You need to cross promote where your consumers eat,
where they work, where they shop,
where they watch movies, where they rent movies,
where they play sports, where they go to school and even
where they study after school,
where they go to the dentist, their doctor.....
If you look around, and get involved, and get involved to market yourself, and your business,
this will effect your attendance. The list is endless,
in fact, where there is a person on the street, at the grocery store, or at the movies,
you need to interact with them, and let them know about your facility.
So yes, i market my facility to local dentists, at no cost to them, i provide colorful passes, that must be stamped with their
dental office stamp to be valid, and attract new guests, it is a much more valuable reward than a platic trinket, and the kids do look forward
to getting their prize. The prize you will get is the kid with the pass, and more often than not, his borther, sister, and maybe a neighbor or two, and they all paid full price!
Now that is one simple idea, but properly promoted, throughout your local market, should be one great success to reaching new markets, and how much effort did you really have to do to promote this new cross promotion?
well, i not only offer a new series of pass each quarter,
with a specific expiration date, but i offer a contest to
each dental office. The Dental office redeeming the most
amount of brush and skate passes also gets a free annual
skate party. This has eliminated the receptionist from
randomly handing out passes, and puts some meaning and worth
behind every pass given out. It becomes special and important,
rather than wasted time for both sides.
