HISTORY...
OK, so to begin I'll just say
Hi'ya! My name is David Hartkop and right now I'm a
student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.(I'm the
red-head on the right in the picture above!)
I originally come from a little town called Rogers City, waaay
the heck over in northern Michigan... If you pretend I'm holding
up my right hand with my palm facing you, we used to live at
the tip of your pointey finger.. Anyway, my whole family, including
the parental units, my brother Michael and sister Rebecka, and myself
moved to Oregon a couple years back. The reason being a dramatic
job change for my dad~ he likes it much better in oregon anyway!
What's going on with me now:
LA is a little bit bigger a town than I'm used to, actually.
My when we moved from Rogers City MI to Oregon, I thought my
High School was huge...almost 950 students!!! (The entire city
of Central Point has a net population of
just over 8 thousand) I've been having a great time though,
planning pranks and running around with my friends. I don't have
a car so I take every to get off campus I can!
I miss the clear skies and quiet and
the trees and generally invisible air of the country though; it's
surprisingly tough to see stars at night because the sky itsself
seems to glow a constant shade of orangey-pink!
Yep..So one might ask what I'm doing down here. Well, I decided
I wanted to major in film and maybe..DEFINATLEY make some movies!
This is place to go if that's what you want to do;
I was going to go to the University of Oregon to be an Architect
but kinda' changed my mind at the last second~ hmm...LA, Eugene,
LA...Eugene...LA... Ya, LA! So here I am!
Things I like:
I like drawing, painting,
friends
Australians
wind!
climbing trees,
making movies with friends,
shooting music videos with my brother and his friends,
running,
our dog Ren,
Pizza,
Splashing in mudpuddles (there was this
huge one infront of the Admin. building outiede my dorm),
Laughing at stupid stuff
or without any provokation (ever stay up so late your foot looks funny? ~never mind)
Friends (most of them, actually all of them),
Inventing stuff (My roomate must think I'm psycho!),
Writing stories & Poems
Yelling really really loud when I'm out in a forrest,
Yelling really really
loud when I'm sitting in Interpersonal Comm.,
any word starting with
the letter X,
Star Trek ~although DS9 is desparatley in need of
writers at the moment~
...to name a few!
