Zonal Rotaract Assembly 99 - Kuching
This year, we are proud that Rotaract Club of Kuching had organized the First Zonal Rotaract Assembly for potential Rotaractors in Sarawak.
This Assembly was a one-day seminar which was organized on January 17th,
1999. The venue of the mini assembly was at INTI College, Kuching. This
Assembly gives potential Rotaractors to know more about Rotaract in general.
Overall, there are 25 participants from the 3 Rotararact Clubs in Sarawak. They are Rotaract of Kuching, Rotaract Club of Inti College (Sarawak) and Rotaract Club of United College (Sarawak).
In the one-day seminar, some general topics were touched. There are as per details below:
1. Rotaract Fellowship / Membership Movement which cover Club Service Avenue
2. Rotary / Rotaract Protocol & Movement Worldwide which cover International Service Avenue
3. How to manage Rotaract Fund which cover Treasurer and Finance Avenue
4. Project management
5. Community / Social Works made simple which cover Community Service Avenue
6. How to have an effecting Meeting
7. How to tackle professional Development Avenue
8. Re-engineering
Besides, there were some past Rotaractors were invited to brief us more about Rotaract during their term of membership whereby their experience during the 1st District Rotaract Conference which was held in Kuching.
Zonal Rotaract Assembly was not only seminars, friendship was being built among Rotaractors from 3 Clubs where we have fellowship together.
