A two day workshop was held before the actual competitions. Experts Mrs. Cheryl Hrynkiw, Mr. Dave Hrynkiw, Mr. Richard Weait, Ms. Jan Frigo, Mr. Andrew Miller, Mr. Mike Trecieski, and Mr. Scott Martin helped the students. Free kits and tools were provided to all members by the City Montessori School organisation.
Some very special Robots were displayed. Seen below is the four legged computer interfaced Robot built by Mr. Andrew Miller a BEAM Robotologist from Canada.
A wide variety of Machines and Robots were on display.
Mr. Andrew Miller provided expert tips to an enthusiastic audience. Many seminars and lectures were also organised besides the competitions.
