SANTA CRUZ, CA -- Thursday, April 9th was a great day to fish the Santa Cruz South Swell Breakwater: full moon, Giants on the tune box, incoming tide and very hungry perch!
After chasing away several Norwegian Wharf Rats from the rocks, Steve and Jack began catching perch at a furious rate ... only problem, most were very pregnant and returned. However, Steve landed a nice rubberlip and a pair of red rock crabs.
Jack proceeded to get hot, landing a handful of meaty rubberlips. After losing his last rig to the rocks, he enjoyed some of the local Santa Cruz beauty. Steve and Jack remind you to kick 'em back, best of luck and and "good creature hunting."
