Liz Phair, often titled as the Queen of Indie music, takes the stage this summer. Touring with the women's music movers & shakers of Lilith Fair , be sure not to miss her if given the chance. On-stage she doesn't talk much, but she's apparently not as stage shy as once self proclaimed. She and Lilith founder, Sarah McLachlan, sang together on Divorce Song and Liz also presented a few new songs to the audience. Definitely one of my very favorite musician that appeared at Lilith, Liz seemed to be having a good time.
Although it was a bit apparent that her fan following in Portland, OR that night wasn't the size of Sheryl Crow & Sarah McLachlan's, I was surprised at the number of people that were up, dancing and signing along with her, enjoying the show.
Was a great night for women in music indeed. (And the men there seemed to be having a great time as well...)
