Back To The Beginning Episodes
Last off they were attacked by Andromon (an advanced type of Digimon) because he had one of those black gears stuck in his leg. Tentomon digi-volved to Kabuterimon and used his 'electro shocker' to knock out the gear. Once out the gears would be break into tiny pieces by itself. Once Andromon was well, he informed the group of a way out. It was through the sewers. There, the group left Andromon.
Through the sewers the group goes. "Hey everybody let's sing the song, Agumon wrote!" Tai suggests. Everyone agrees
and the song begins:
Digimon eat and Digimon fight. Digimon digi-volve and fight all night
Agumon suggests they have solo performances now, starting with Mimi. Everyone shudders and start gagging. They know that Mimi sings really bad. Mimi starts singing, she explains that she took singing lessons for three years. "Did it help?" TK asks innocently. "I say you should have a full refund," Izzy jokes. They start singing again. In the middle of the Digimon song, Sora screams.
"What's wrong Sora?" the group asks. Sora almost starts to cry, she explains that a drop of water dripped on her shirt. "That made you cry?" Izzy asks. A drop of water drip on her again, she wipes it. She shakes her head and explains how when she was home, she would sing when she did her chores. Especially when she hung the laundry out she would sing really loud because no one would hear her. Everyone explains what they would miss.
*Tai. He would miss playing sports and a hot bath.
*TK. He would miss games, video games. He was so close to beating Matt.
*Matt. He misses Sundays. That's when his mom would grill streaks. Mmmm....
*Joe. He misses homework. He's afraid that he will fall too far and go to Junior College.
*Mimi. She misses a vacation. Sipping cool Cola on a sunny day at the beach. (Sigh)
*Izzy. He would miss accessing the satellittes over the internet. He wants to know more about the stars.
The Digimon do not understand what they're saying. "They are from another world," Gomamon says. "That's why they are depressed," Gabumon replies. "Poor kids," Gomamon says.
A distant rumbling like sound is heard. Gomamon explains it's the Numemon, disgusting sewer dwelling Digimon. They see them now, Agumon tells everyone to run. There's a bunch of them. They are weak and small but there's too many of them. The Numemon's appearance are little green jelly like Digimon with no legs and big snail like eyes that stick out it's head. They begin to throw Nume Sludge. The Nume sludge look like doo-doo but pinkish. All the Numemon throw them at the group. They all keep running. The group sees a pipe leading somewhere, they go and run up. Light. An opening is in the distance, everyone runs through. The Numemon sees the light and stop, they all run back into the sewers. Agumon explains that the only thing that stops them is the sunlight.
They are outside now. The land looks barren. They don't believe their eyes. There's over fifty vending machines on the valley below. Mimi is excited, she wants Cola! She runs down and checks the vending machines. The group already have a feeling that the machines don't work. Mimi doesn't believe them. She finds a machine with Cola, she puts her coin in. The door falls down, Mimi and Palmon dodge the falling door. "Hey cutey pie!" the leader of the Numemon say to Mimi. "How 'bout going on a date?" Mimi, is angered. She speaks out her opinion of the stinky, ugly, short green disgusting little Numemon. Palmon suggest, she doesn't do that. The leader gets angered because Mimi called him short. Clouds block the sunlight and the leader yells, "PARTY TIME!!!" All of a sudden all the vending machines' doors open, revealing a Numemon in each. Mimi and Palmon run past the group. The group sees the wave of Numemon and run for it. They decide to split up.
Mimi and Palmon run into the woods and they are chased by three Numemons. They turn and hide behind two trees. Palmon jump out and yells, "Poison Ivy". The three Numemon stop throwing their sludge and run back. Mimi congradulates Palmon. "But I didn't do anything," Palmon says. They look behind them and see Monzaemon, a yellow stuffed teddy bear-like digimon. "Come visit us at toy town," Monzaemon says. Palmon explains that Monzaemon takes care of all the unwanted toys, he's friendly. "I must say so pleased to meet your acquaitance," Monzaemon says to the two.
A crash is heard and Monzaemon is using his lazer eyes to zap Mimi and Palmon!!! Something must be wrong. The leader of the Numemon tell Mimi to hide in the ditch up ahead. Palmon and Mimi hide, Monzaemon looses sight of them and walk right past them. Mimi decides she's going to toy town. The two head there. Mimi gasps at the sight of Toy Town. It's like a page from a fairy tale. Buildings of wonderful color are there with spirals reaching the skies, just like a medieval town. They reach the center and stop to look around them. Tai appears "oh boy this is fun, this is really fun." He is chased by a red wind up car. Sora appears, "this is so exciting...." She is chased by a little wind up monkey playing the cymbals. Izzy is next, "oh joy what a delightful day." He is chased by a group of marching soldiers. Matt comes, "boy oh boy is this really great or what?" A train set is chasing after him. A giant duck chases Joe and he says, "this really rocks." TK appears and says,"ha ha you can't catch me." A flying helicopter toy is chasing him. Mimi and Palmon notcie that everyon is acting like zombies. They continue to walk on.
They hear something in a building. It's Agumon's voice. The Digimon are all trapped in a toy chest. They're locked and can't get out. Agumon explains how they were running away from the Numemon. Monzaemon came and started attacking them. They tried fighting but it was no use. Monzaemon jumped up and unleashed, "Heart Attack!" Blue hearts appeared and sucked everyone into one. Some how the kids were hypnotized. Monzaemon said something about serving the toys in the community toy box. The Digimon explains that it's all up to Mimi and Palmon to defeat Monzaemon, so that the Digimon and kids will be free. The two walk out.
Not long, the monkey with the clashing cymbals appears. The noise get on Mimi's nerves, she stomps on it. Monzaemon appears. Mimi yells at Monzaemon, telling him he better make her friends better. It doesn't listen to her. A bunch of Numemon appear to help Mimi. They throw their Nume Sludge, but it doesn't work. The towering Monzaemon knocks them down. Palmon helps out with her Poisin Ivy, but she's not strong enough. Monzaemon uses his heart attack. Blue hearts appear, the Numemon form a Numemon wall in front of Mimi and Palmon. They are all captured. Palmon can't stand this.
"Time to take it to the next level. I'm a lady but I'm not a push-over!" She concentrates and digi-volves The screen flashes to the digi-vice and a ling of commands appear and go into Palmon. Palmon digi-volve to....Togemon Togemon looks like a giant cactus with legs and boxing gloves. Don't forget the attitude! "Your going down big boy! You wanna dance?!" She walks towards Monzaemon. Monzaemon growls, Togemon growls louder. They go up and have a slug fest. Togemon punches with a right hook, Monzaemon counters with a left jab. Togemon returns with a left punch. Monzaemon gets a right punch in too. Monzaemon charges for a lazer eye attack, but Togemon right jabs him right in the jaw, before he can do anything. Togemon charges her attack. "Digimon Needle Spray!" Togemon spins around in circles really quick and needles fly out from her cactus-like body. They all stick into Monzaemon. He is defeated, he bursts a gear. A black gear. Togemon returns back to Palmon. Mimi is impressed and gives her an encouraging hug.
Everything is normal again. Monzaemon feels bad for having done all that he did. He felt sad for all the toys that got thrown away.
He wanted to creat a home for them. He wanted to make toys more important to the owners. He is really sorry for all the trouble. He just felt
an evil feeling creep into him. Tai remembers the black gear. That must be it. He's starting to get a feeling that black gear is really bad.
Monzaemon wants to show his gratitude. He wants to give everyone a big hug. "Oh boy..." Joe says. "Heart attack with a hug!" Monzaemon says,
releasing red hearts into the air. Each red heart carries one person/Digimon and float up into the air. Everyone laughs and feel the goodness
of the hug. Forgetting all their troubles, and just being who they are; kids. The leader Numemon opens the sewer cover and says to Mimi, "Dumpling,
a kiss for your hero?" Mimi answers, "no," and smiles. "Wow, what a girl!"
Gomamon tells Joe to lighten up on things sometimes. Joe is freezing. The whole group is caught in a very cold area of the Digi World. They tell each other to think warm thoughts. Someone suggests that it might snow any minute now and that they can throw snowballs and build a snowman. "What do you think Snowmon is?" Gomamon asks quizzically. "A digimon from their world," Gabumon replies. The Digimon are quizzical about what snow is. Izzy tries hard to explain it to them and resulting in snow being food. Joe feels left out, so he complains. He complains that he's cold and if they play in the snow they'll get even colder. "...always safe than sorry, think first." that's Joe's motto. Tiny white sprinkles start to fall. It's snow. The group realizes that their sneakers will not protect them and that their toes will get numb. It's impossible to continue. Mimi, TK, Patamon and Palmon are all running back and forth in front of the group and having fun. Agumon smells something, could it be food? Biyomon smells it too, it's scent is familiar. They see steam rising up not too far away. "Geyser!" Joe exclaims. It must be hot springs.
The group arrive to the hot springs. They find the water bubbling hot, the water is too hot to go in. They would get cooked. "Look there!" TK exclaims. They can't believe it. It just can't be. Are their eyes playing jokes on them? It's...It's....a refridgerator!
They run up to it and open the door. Eggs! Cartons of eggs on every shelf! Joe warns Tai to becareful. Tai volunteers to be the guinea pig. Tai says that if he turns purple then they'll all know it's no good. They all split up and prepare for their feast of eggs. Sora is cooking the eggs sunny side up with Biyomon flapping her wings to keep the fire going. Izzy and Tai are finding wood. Joe's carving chopsticks glumly. Gabumon and Agumon are each carving bowls out of wood. They all haven't had this kind of a meal for a long time. The meal is ready. They all sit down. Joe is too worried to eat, he misses home. Everyone's spirit is down. It's been four days now. Is there a search party out? "Cheer up, tell me how you like the eggs and I'll do my best," Sora tries to change the subject.

Joe just lost his appetitie, "Don't be so hard on yourself," Gomamon says. Tai and Matt hear this and laugh. "I'm afraid Joe isn't the kind of guy that's very adaptable." Gomamon agrees, "He is a stick in the mud." Joe is angry to hear this from Gomamon. The two argue. "Stuffy!" Gomamon shoots. "Practical" Joe shoots back. "You wanna fight?!!" Gomamon challenges. Matt manages to stop the two from arguing. "I am calm. He's the one who's stingy!" Joe says. He goes off on his own.
Joe feels that he has the heavy burden of watching over everyone. He is sad and throws rocks into the hot springs. He contemplates, he's the only one that's really opening his eyes and being cautious. He returns back to the group and finds Tai and Matt arguing. Tai wants to climb Infinity Mountain (The huge grey mountain, in the center of the island) He thinks it'll be a good look out. Matt doesn't want to go, he thinks it's too big of a gamble. Tai is angry and clenches his fists and calls Matt a "wimp". Matt tells Tai to put his fists down and stop thnking you have to bully to be leader. Joe moves in and tells them to calm down. Tai and Matt lets Joe decide. Joe is surprised they asked him. He explains that Tai is right about the look out. But Matt is also right about climbing the Mountain, because it's dangerous. Joe does some deep thinking. "Your just a big old chicken!" Tai says to Matt. "You better take that back, " Matt glares at Tai. "Now grow up!" Sora bursts. She says it's better to talk about this tomorrow. It's getting dark and everyone needs some rest. They all head for the caves, inside it's warm and roomy.
Time passes. The fire is almost burnt out and everyone's fast asleep. 'Someone's gonna get hurt if I don't do something fast,' Joe thinks in his mind. 'I couldn't even stop the fight and got myself involved'. He feels that everyone's lives depend on him and that he's everyone's protector. He gets up and walks out of the cave and look at Infinity Mountain. He's good at climbing and he decides to climb it himself. He walks along the trail. "Whoa there!" Gomamon comes out of the cave. Joe tells him to go back. Gomamon doesn't want to, he tells Joe that he has some businness up on the Mountain. Joe lets him stay. "Sometimes you just have to trick him" Gomamon whispers to himself. "What was that?" Joe asks. "Oh nothing."
They climb up the Mountain. They grow tired. "I can give you a hand," Gomamon suggests. "You call that a hand?" Joe says. "Watch it," Gomamon shoots back at Joe. "Can't you lighten up?" Joe tells Gomamon. They alreayd climbed half way and they stop to rest. They feel this shaking. Could it be a volcanoe?! No it isn't. The side of the Mountain open and a bunch of black gears shoot out. "Let's go," Joe says, eager to climb to the top. They hear a sound from the skies. They look up to the moon. The moon is shining bright and round. A figure appears. "Oh just great, a flying horse with a mask," Joe sighs. The animation zooms in on Unimon. Gomamon tells Joe that it's a wise old digimon. And that he never knew it lived there in the Mountain. It's very gentle and not much of a talker. Unimon looks much like a unicorn, except with a metal mask and horn on it's face. Battle scars line the beasts broad shoulders. Gomamon suggests that Unimon will tell them what they need to know. A whirring sound is heard from the skies. What could it be? It's a black gear. The black gear is going straight towards Unimon and crashes into on of it's old battle scars. Unimon looks over at Joe and Gomamon, it's eyes red and raging mad.
Sora wakes up, the sun is just out. She notices Joe is missing and steps outside of the cave. She sees a message scrawled on the floor. "I'll be back in a little while, please wait for me -Joe". Sora is worried and has a feeling Joe is climbing Mount Infinity. "Hey everybody wake up, I think Joe's in trouble!"
"Do something Gomamon!" Joe demands. "What?" Gomamon replies back. "You aren't planning on leaving?" Unimon says menacingly. It charges up for an attack. "Aerial Attack!" A beam of energy shoots forth. Birdramon appears and knocks it towards Unimon. Hanging on Birdramon is Tai, Sora and Agumon. "We've come to save you" Unimon gets up and charges for an Aerial Attack. He blasts it at Birdramon. Birdramon is hit and falls down the Mountain. Sora goes down the mountain to check on Birdramon. A digi-vice appears on the screen and....Agumon digi-volve to...GREYMON! Greymon fires his Digi Nova Blast, but Unimon is quick and dodges. Unimon bashes into Greymon knocking Greymon into the rock face. "Greymon you gonna be alright?" Tai asks, concerned. "I'm styling dude," Greymon blasts another Nova Blast. Still Unimon dodges, he is just too quick. Unimon blasts an Aerial Attack on Greymon and flies up. He sees Sora, "another uninvited guest?" Birdramon senses Sora in danger. "Meteor wings!" and blasts a shower of fireballs toward Unimon. Unimon dodges and knocks Birdramon down with Sora. Joe spots the gear sticking out from Unimon. "I'll get it." He jumps on top of Unimon and caught him by surprise. Joe clutches onto the gear but it's stuck. Unimon is trying desperatly to get Joe off his back. Joe is determined to get the gear out of Unimon. Unimon gives a tremendous buck and Joe falls off of Unimon and plummets to the ground. "NO!!!" A screen goes black and a digi-vice appears. Data is spinning in circles and inputs itself into Gomamon. Gomamon digi-volve to.....IKKAKUMON! Ikkakumon's appearance looks like a shaggy sheperd dog with walrus teeth and a horn protruding out of it's forehead. Joe lands on Ikkakumon. "Hold on tight Joe, cause we're going for a ride!"
Unimon attacks and Ikkakumon just dodges it. "Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon's aims his horn at Unimon and dozens of horns shoot forward. Unimon dodges them. The horns open up and reveal a missle, the missle turns around and hits Unimon square in the back. Ikkakumon caught Unimon by surprise! The gear is knocked out and disinagrates. Ikkakumon did it! Everyone digi-volves back to their normal selves.
Everyone praises Joe for having the guts to climb Infinity Mountain and everyone thanks Gomamon. Joe's bravery made him digi-volve, one of the members of the group says. "That's not why, I just had nothing to do. He would of fallen on his head. That's why! Hey if you don't believe me, you wanna fight?" Gomamon says. "Heroes don't fight. Your the best Gomamon," Joe says, proud of Gomamon. Gomamon blushes. Biyomon sees this, "Gomamon's embarrassed!" she says in a teasing tune. The group decide to go up Mount Infinity. They make it to the top and there just really isn't anything. Most of the island is grass, a quarter of it is snow and less than a quarter of it is a rock cliff. Will they ever find their way home?
Matt, TK, Izzy, Mimi and their digi-partners, are walking up a path to the top of Infinity Mountain. They catch up with the others at the summit of the mountain. Joe, as usual, is complaining about how they are never going to be able to leave the island, that they are doomed, and that he wanted to be in summer school. The shot moves back until we see the whole island. We see a black gear flying over some mountainous terrain. Leomon is walking up a path on Infinity Mountain when he sees the black gear. He senses danger as we see Ogremon stand up and ambush Leomon.
PUMMEL WHAK! Leomon draws his sword and blocks Ogremon's bone club. Both of them lose their weapons over their shoulders. Leomon's sword lands point down in the rocks. Ogremon tells Leomon that he is not wanted or needed and he should leave now while he still can. Leomon, in the classic sence of heroism, says that he cannot leave until he has stopped the rain of black gears that turn innocent digimon into monsters.
Leomon shoots his FIST OF THE BEAST KING! while Ogremon shoots his purple version of the same thing. The two forces collide and smash the rocks surrounding them. Then a voice commands them to stop fighting and work together for him. Both fighters state that they will not work for the voice. Devimon appears between them, stating that he is the ultimate ruler of the demon underworld. Ogremon starts kissing up to Devimon and that he alone can accomplish whatever Devimon needs done. Devimon disagrees because it is the digi-destined that they will be facing. Leomon demands to know where the kids are. Devimon tells them that they are on Infinity Mountain. He tells them to destroy the group. Leomon threatens to destroy Devimon for threatening the digi-destined. FIST OF THE BEAST KING!
Devimon is with Orgmon and Leomon. Devimon is an evil looking Digimon, along with Orgmon a green Digimon with evil eyes and horns and a huge mouther. Devimon tells Leomon that the Digi-Destined are on top of Mt. Infinity. He orders Leomon to destroy them. Leomon objects and attacks Devimon with "Fist of the Beast King!" A strong energy emits from Leomon's fist. Devimon disappears and shows up behind Leomon. "Feel the touch of evil!" Devimon grabs Leomon with one of his hands and evil energy cackle from Devimon to Leomon. "ARGH!" Leomon's pupils are rolled back and his eyes are blank. "Destroy the Digi-Destined," Devimon orders. "Yes. I will obey."
The screen cuts towards the kids on top of Inifinity Mountain. Tai looks through his telescope. "Whatcha doing?" Agumon asks. Tai is drawing a map of the island so they will know where they're going. Joe knows it's hopeless. "I know we're lost". Izzy and Matt look past Tai's shoulder and at what he's drawing. "Man, your the King of Doodles!" Matt laughs. On the paper are just scribbles. "If you follow that map, it'll lead to a head ache!" Sora points out. The kids hear a rumbling of stone close-by.
Leomon appears. The Digimon are all relieved. They say that Leomon is a nice Digimon. He is a role model for all Digimon and a just leader. Leomon surprises everyone when they hear that he wants to destroy the kids. They all start to run down the Mountain. Leomon grabs his sword and lunges toward them. Tai drops his map and runs back to get it. Agumon urges him not to. Leomon is coming. "Pepper breath!" Agumon's fireball burns up the map but Leomon blocks the attack. The kids keep on running. Orgmon is in front of them. Something's wrong. Orgmon and Leomon are arch enemies, why have they teamed up?
"This proves theory of team work efficent, even for bad guys." Izzy comments. "They're supposed to be worse enemies, what happened?" Biyomon says. Both Digimon attack and six beams of light shine. Agumon digi-volve to...GREYMON! Gabumon digi-volve to...GARURUMON! Palmon digi-volve to TOGEMON! Tentomon digi-volve to KABUTERIMON! Gomamon digi-volve to IKKAKUMON! Biyomon digi-volve to BIRDRAMON! Everyone digi-volved and made the two back off. Devimon is on top of Mount Infinity. He is surprised everyone has digi-volved. But why not the Patamon? "Nova Blast!" "Harpoon Torpedo!" "Needle Spray!" Both attacking Digimon are wounded. "Listen up everyone, together now!" Tai instructs. Devimon notices they have all learnt to work together. A blast of fallen rock pummel down towards the kids. The Digimon all blast it to sand to save the kids. Once the sand had fallen, the kids notice their Digimon down. The Digimon are alright, but they're just tired. Two digi-volutions in one day. The Bad Digimon disappeared. Could the avalanche knock down both of them? Tai comments on "what sent it off?" It looked like it was blasted loose. The kids walk on down the Mountain. Devimon is still on top of Mt. Infinity. "They are more powerful than I thought, I must destroy them when they are weak and exhausted."
Sora thinks that the Digimon might be getting stronger, everyone is tired. They all hike down Mt. Infinity and through the trees they see something. It's a Mansion, or maybe a hotel. Joe hopes there are hot tubs. They all cautiously open the double doors. TK is amazed by a beautiful picture of an Angel. "What's an angel TK?" Patamon asks. TK explains that is is something that looks after everyone and protects people. Joe explains that this house shoulde be safe. No haunted houses have pictures of angels in them. The Digimon all smell the delicious aroma of food. They find a room with a banquet table full of food. Chicken, turkey, jelly beans everything. The Digimons are all busy eating. The kids feel something wierd. Joe doesn't care and digs in. Nothing happens to him, so everyone eats.
Everyone is taking baths in hot tubs. "Heads up Matt !" Tai exclaims, jumping into the hot tub. "Watch the hair dude!" Matt says. "Is that what you call it? Looks like birds came and built a nest on it!" Tai jokes. Joe comes in with towel wrapped around him. He looks nervous. Matt explains to Joe not to be shy, there aren't any girls in there and they already checked for sharks. "Humans can be so silly," Patamon comments. "They aren't the only ones, where's Gabumon?" Tentomon asks. Gabumon is looking really embarrassed and standing outside.
On the girls side of the hot tubs, both sides are seperated by a screen. Mimi, Sora, Biyomon and Palmon are all relaxing. Sora comments on how the boys can be so noisy. Mimi just tells Sora to relax. "I haven't been so relaxed in my whole life," Gomamon says floating on his back. All the girls freeze and look very angrily at Gomamon. "Your supposed to be on the boys side!" Palmon throws Gabumon back over to the other side. "Where'd you come from?" Matt says. They all take their baths.
All in robes they find a huge bedroom with six beds. They all feel how comfy they are. Joe reminds everyone about home and Matt thinks that people gave up looking for them. "Not Mom and Dad," TK says, dozing off to sleep. Downstairs, Devimon emerges from the Angel picture. "It was so easy to deceive them."
Tai and Agumon all go to the washroom. Tai wants to go by himself, but Agumon wants to follow. "I should of known you were the one scared to go yourself," Tai says. Agumon comments on how Orgmon looked really mean and evil. Agumon's in a stall. Tai asks what he's doing in there. Agumon's too embarrassed to say. On the next stall Orgmon is there. He covers his face with his hands, smelling a foul stench. Orgmon can't take it anymore and he bursts out of the stall. Tai is surprised and yells, "EVERYONE WAKE UP!" Tai and Agumon run outside. But they see Leomon. "Why do you hate me?" Tai asks. "He hates you because I commanded him to!" Tai looks across the floor and sees Devimon. He asks Agumon what is he. Agumon says that he's a very evil Digimon. He is the one that invented the nightmare. Devimon has no use of the building and he shows Tai what all this actually is. The whole building was imaginary, it was an illusion. It really is an old broken down place.
Devimon says how they are strong together, and he uses his 'touch of evil' to make the beds float.Tai is in his underwear, and Agumon is too weak to fight. Devimon explains that everything was imaginary. He also explains that he discovered the secret of the black gears from below. He shows Tai who really is in control. He breaks the whole island into few smaller ones. "You and your friends happen to come to this world which is just fragments of the old world. That scattered across a vast ocean. You pretend you don't know anything about this but I am well aware that you are the digi-destined. Sent here to stop me from my domination!"
"Whoa you got this all wrong, we were just kids at summer camp that accidentally got stuck in your world" Tai tries to explain. Devimon won't listen. He sends Leomon to destroy Tai. Agumon runs up and tries to do Pepper Breath but it doesn't work. Still to weak. Leomon blasts Agumon down. Leomon grabs Tai with one hand and reaches for his sword with another. "No! wait...." Tai struggles. Just then Tai's bed, comes crashing down beside Leomon. Tai's digi-vice falls toward Leomon. He looks down and is blinded by an awesome display of light. The evil presence leaves Leomon and Leomon is his rightful self. He drops Tai and turns toward Devimon. Tai asks Leomon if he knows what the digi-vice is. Leomon replies that it is proof that he is one of the digi-destined. And that digi-vice is powerless in the hands of anyone else. Leomon drops Agumon and Tai down to a floating rock that's floating past. "What about you?" Tai asks. Leomon remains to stay and destroy Devimon. Devimon sends Orgmon, Leomon blasts Orgmon away. "Fist of the Beast King!" "Feel the touch of evil!" "ARGH!"
"Leomon!" Tai calls back. "They have escaped out first encounter, but not for long!" Devimon sends seven black gears towards the islands. "They must be destroyed, will you do that for me Leomon?" Devimon asks the now hypnotized Leomon. "I cannot disobey."
The whole Digimon Island is seperated and flowing away in the ocean. In the middle is an small island. From far away it looks like a single huge mountain. It practically is. This mountain is Mt. Infinity. On top of Mt. Infinity is a broken down building, inside hideous stone figures decorate the interior. Devimon. It is his 'castle' He looks across at all the drifting islands and mentions the Digi-Destined's will "meet their doom."
On a floating block of ice, Tai (in his underwear) is with Agumon. They are both cold and hungry, they wish they were on solid ground. Their wish just came true. They see a huge glacier and crash into it, both of them flying into the snow. Tai is freezing and see Agumon's two feet sticking out of the snow. Tai pulls out Agumon and finds his clothes all frozen in the snow. Agumon helps out with his pepper breath. They walk along and find mailboxes. Tai wishes he can mail himself home. But the only way to do that is to defeat Devimon. Tai sees through his telescope and notices they are drifting farther away from Mt. Infinity. A rumbling is heard and they see Frigimon. Frigimon is a friendly digimon, Agumon explains. Frigimon looks menacingly at the two and..."SUBZERO ICE PUNCH!" The two luckily dodges, but Frigimon freezes up one of the mailboxes. They see a black gear attached to Frigimon on his back. "Pepper Breath-ha!" Frigimon blocks it. Tai comments on if Frigimon touches them, they'll be ice cubes. Agumon has no strength to digi-volve. They run to a dead end. "Going somewhere? Ha ha ha, " Frigimon cries. Agumon has an idea. If Tai can throw him up and onto Frigimon's back, he can destroy the Black Gear. Tai tries, but "Tubbymon" sure is heavy. They belly slide forward to dodge Frigimon. Tai has an idea. He wants to show Agumon why he was named Captain of the Soccer team. He tells Agumon to roll up in a ball. Tai then kicks Agumon up and onto Frigimon's back. Agumon holds on for dear life and..."Pepper Breath!" He destroys the Black Gear. Frigimon returns to normal.
Tai asks Frigimon if he's seen anybody like him. Frigimon says he saw a Gabumon and a boy on a bed falling into the island right across from their glacier. How will they get there? Frigimon feels bad for attacking the two, so to make it up he offers to take them across to the other island using his subzero ice punch to form a bridge. He carries the two on his shoulder.
On the other island, a blizzard is raging. Matt and Gabumon are there. Matt is yelling out TK's name, he wants to find his little brother, but he doesn't look well. He's coughing hard. Gabumon suggests that they rest. Matt doesn't listen to him. They find a cave. Matt runs in hoping to find TK. No one is there. Gabumon builds a fire and tells Matt to warm up. Matt won't listen. Gabumon offers to find TK, he goes and looks for TK. Matt sits by the fire and thinks. 'It isn't right. He's my little brother, I should go look for him,' Matt runs out. Gabumon doesn't have any luck and says how Matt will be so disappointed. On the way he finds Matt all cold in the snow and unconsious. Gabumon quickly brings Matt back to the cave. Gabumon sees how Matt is shivering, Gabumon takes off his fur so that Matt can be warm and so that Matt can make it through the night. Gabumon is really shy about taking off his fur. The screen doesn't show Gabumon, but it shows his shadow. Outside, unknown to them is a snow shadowy figure eyeing them, outside of the cave.
Frigimon and the gang made it through the night. They are on the other island. They predict that Matt and Gabumon are somewhere in the snowy region. "Sure let's hike, after that we can hike some more and after that let's go hiking again," Tai sarcastically says. The group calls out to Matt and Gabumon. In the cave, Matt wakes up. Gabumon quickly takes the fur and hides behind a rock. "Gabumon, you took off your fur, for me?" Matt asks. Gabumon comes out of the rock with fur intact and nods. Matt is impressed by his friend. "MATT!" It's Tai's voice! They run out and see their friends. They run to them, they are all glad to see each other. Gabumon gives a huge sneeze, he also has a running nose. Tai jokes that Gabumon has the cold, isn't he the one with the fur? Matt shoves Tai and tells him to stop making fun of Gabumon. They cool down, and Frigimon goes off to find some medicine for the cold and some food. Tai and Matt debate what they should do now. Matt wants to find the others. But Tai wants to focus on the real deal, to defeat Devimon. They have a huge argument and they start to fight. Matt punches Tai and they start to roll down a hill. They stop right at the edge of the hill. Their Digimon try to calm them down but they won't listen. Matt confesses. "It's TK, I'm worried about him. He's all alone on a strange island." Matt has tears in his eyes, he looks at Tai. Tai relaxes and understands. "So that's it." The edge of the hill collapses and they fall. Tai grabs a hold on to Matt's hand and with his other hand, Tai holds onto a tree root. Their Digimon try to safely climb down, but they can't. They don't have any strength. "If only I can digi-volve into Garurumon," Gabumon says.
A Digimon shows up, looks like a Sasquatch. It's Mojamon, it's a peace loving Mountain digimon. It doesn't like fighting. But what is that he's holding? An icicle?! Mojamon lunges at the group with his icicle and breaks off the whole cliff. The group fall. They all bounce off a round white head. It's Frigimon. "It's raining kids and digimon again. I'm gonna have to bring an umbrella." Frigimon says. He gives Gabumon some sort of green grass. He says it's an ancient cold remedy. Gabumon stuffs it all into his mouth, his eyes pop out with surprise. It's disgusting! He makes a face. Frigimon gives the others some food. The food is good and tasty. Mojamon jumps down. Frigimon tries to protect the group and battles with Mojamon. Frigimon manages to slam Mojamon into the side of a cliff. Exposing numerous black gears. But in the end Mojamon knocks Frigimon down. Mojamon uses "Boomerang Bone!" and he throws a boomerang shaped bone at the group. They duck and dodge it. "Nice trick Mojamon, now watch ours!" Tai says.
Gabumon digi-volve to...GARURUMON!!! Agumon digi-volve to...GREYMON!!! Frigimon holds onto to Mojamon, they see a black gear in his chest. Agumon uses his Nova Blast and blastes away the Black Gear. Garurumon uses his Growling Blaster to destroy the exposed black gears. Mojamon returns to his peaceful self. "Whoa! I feel like I've been run over by a monochromon!" They explain that the black gear was controlling him. Matt points out they still have to find the others. The gears all crackle with electricity and are all repaired! This time they run the opposite way, back to Infinity Mountain and Devimon. The two don't fight, they have a mutual understanding. "I know now that TK will be alright. He has Patamon, and Patamon will keep him safe." He knows that is they trust each other, they will be alright.
"A Clue From The Digi-Past"

Izzy and Tentomon are falling from the sky, they crash into the ground. No of them is hurt. They landed on a deserted island. It seems that they are the only ones there. They walk along and see a huge ancient building. They decide to go in.
On a different island. Mimi and Palmon are exploring their tropical island. They are chased after by a disgusting looking Digimon with a mouse-like digimon on it's shoulder. This Digimon looks like a huge yellow metallic Nume Sludge. With spidery arms and legs. It's Sukamon and Chuumon. They are always together because they share the same teeny tiny brain; they are also known as the Digital Losers. They chase Mimi and Palmon throwing Nume Sludge. Palmon uses her poison ivy to swing them both across to the other island. They are safe and they both make faces at the disgusting looking Digimons. They wander around and see an ancient building, they decide to go in.
Izzy looks around in awe at the building. The interior looks just like the huge battery supply they were in before. With the same cryptic messages. Izzy looks around and sees an electrical outlet sticking out of a tree root. He plugs in his labtop and types away trying to decode it. Tentomon suggests they find their friends, Izzy ignores him and concentrates on his labtop screen. Just then, Mimi and Palmon arrive. Tentomon is happy to see them, but Izzy just types away on his labtop. They all comment and tell Izzy not to stare at the screen, and talk to them. He doesn't respond. They sit there for a long time waiting for Izzy to finish. Mimi has had enough. She yells at Izzy to stop and talk to her. She is so fed up that she starts crying, Palmon then starts to cry also. Mimi can't stand it and she runs inside a door in the cryptic room. Tentomon follows her. Palmon cries and finally Izzy snaps out of his trance. He asks why Palmon is crying. Palmon explains that he's self-centered and ignores everyone. Izzy tries to explain that he wants to find out where they are. And he did, they are in the entrance of some sort of labryinth. They notice Mimi and Tentomon missing. Could they have gone into the labryinth? Izzy types something up on his labtop. A map of the labryinth is shown and he hooks up his digi-vice. He hopes to locate Mimi by her digi-vice and communicate.
"You know, Izzy isn't that bad of a guy," Tentomon tries to calm Mimi down. Mimi notices they have been walking in circles for a long time, they just passed that smudge on the wall a while ago. They realize they are lost. "Mimi...Mimi can you hear me?" Izzy's voice rings out. "Is that you Izzy?" Mimi asks. Izzy explains that he's communicating to her through her digi-vice. He instructs her on how to get out of the maze. Half way through, another light shines on Izzy's labtop. Mimi and Tentomon aren't alone. Centaramon shows up, half horse, half digimon creature. He chases after Mimi and Tentomon. Izzy tries to help them but Mimi and Tentomon run to a dead end. They even lost communication. Mimi yells at Tentomon to digi-volve, but he can't since he's too far away from Izzy. Looks like they're trapped! A blast to the side jolts all of them. It's Izzy and Palmon! Wasting no time at all, they both digi-volve. Tentomon digi-volve to...KABUTERIMON!!! Palmon digi-volve to...TOGEMON!!! They are so big that they take up almost all of the room in the small space. Centaramon charges up on his arm cannon. He blasts and knocks everyone outside. With more space, Kabuterimon and Togemon team up and drive the black gear away from Centaramon.
Centaramon takes them to a sacred place in the maze. On the wall of the room, is a digi-vice carved out. He comments on that the digi-vice are blessed and that whoever holds it are one of the Digi-Destined. Leomon walks in (he's controlled by Devimon), he declares that he's there to destroy the Digi-Destined. Centaramon protects the kids and battle with Leomon. He is no match, Leomon walks towards the kids. Mimi grows scared and holds up her bag for what she thinks is the end. On her bag is her digi-vice. It starts to shine, it gives off a brilliant white light and it hits Leomon directly. Izzy notices this and joins in with his digi-vice. Leomon can't stand it and he runs out of the room. The kids are relieved, they go back out to the cryptic room. Mimi notices a huge black gear sticking out of the floor. In anger she kicks it and the gear stops suddenly. And starts again turning the opposite way. The kids all go outside and see they are advancing to Mt. Infinity. The disgusting digimon and his friend mouse-digimon wave good-bye to Mimi an Palmon. Mimi and Palmon all make faces at the two. Off to Mt. Infinity and hopefully they will find their friends.
