Natural magick is the art of bringing about marvellous effects inherent in seemingly ordinary herbs,
stones, animals, and other natural substances.

The following glossary gives only a few of the elements of natural magick

NETTLE

A plant with stinging hairs that is used in potions as an asphrodisiac. Nettles are used in recipes to cure many diseases and are worn in amulets against evil spirits. They have been said to stop bleeding when applied externally and to be good for the skin. Place nettles on a beer barrell to impove the flavor.

NEWT

A salamander or other small, tailed animal, the brains of which are used in love potions.

NIGHTINGALE

Swallow its heart with honey and carry the heart and tongue with you to make others delight to listen to you. Carry the eyes of the nightingale to keep you awake.
